Zudacomics.com is a new digital imprint being launched by DC Comics in October which will publish webcomics featuring new characters and concepts by creators yet to be found. The original announcement can be found here, on the New York Times.So what do DC2ers think? Are you looking forwards to this? Is this good for the internet and the comic industry? Is DC just trying to exploit the limitless talent found on the internet for their own profit? Speak you mind! |

i don't really read webcomics but I think its smart of them branching into them if for nothing else then Marvel hasn't really done anything like it. I'll be interested to see what comes out of it but aside from that webcomics don't do much for me so I probably won't be too involved with it one way or the other.

I don't really read webcomics (like Ramon) but I kinda sorta want to check it out, at least to see what's going on. But It sounds like DC trying to do something "hip" and "Happening" (those words used on purpose) and I don't think it's necessary. Unless it's comics with DC characters I generally don't care much...

I actually do read webcomics albeit more webcomic strips; anyone else here read VG Cats? Man that's a fun site...
Anyhow Zuda always struck me as DC trying to do what Platinum does from the moment I first read the press release so probably no involvement in creating a webcomic on Zuda for me. But I'll check it out once it gets rolling, see what's on there.
