We have lots of big comic book movies coming our way. Which movies that are confirmed are you waiting for the most, and what movies that haven't been put into deals would you want to see?
I'm really waiting for Spidey 3 and the Flash... And I'd love to see GL movie and an X-Men movie where they stay true to all of the characters, not just Wolverine.

well i've seen grindhouse, seen 300, skipped on that turtles movie based on my undeniable hatred for movies whose titles are simply initials... so i guess now the movie i am most looking forward to would be the new Sin City. yep.

Spiderman 3 is what I'm looking forward to right now. After that, Dark Knight should be good, Transformers looks cool. Other than that nothing immediatly comes to mind.

I have my doubts about The Dark Knight to be honest. Batman Begins was good the first time I watched it, but when I think of how many times I've seen the 89 movie it paled in comparison. (Not to mention I've been hearing a great deal of things about The Joker that just makes me doubt he's going to be very interesting)
Sin City 2 looks good, Frank Miller is great when it comes to original characters... I was unimpressed by The Dark Knight returns, but loved his Sin City.

I'd have to agree on the Dark Knight...a little scared. Begins was good, but not superfantastic... the only thing I really liked was that it stuck to his origins and they attempted to make him an urban legend, scary, and disappearing a lot...and the Ra's Al Ghul identity thing was cool.
I won't be sure of Transformers until I see more. All I've seen was the eye thing. Do they have any kind oftrailer or teaser yet?
Spidey 3 is almost here! And two days after my birthday!

Second the call for a GL movie - how cool would it be to see the ring creating objects in 'real life'?!

Spider-Man 3 has me very interested. Of course, I think I'm the only person looking forward to FF2, but I will stand firm in my belief that I'm going to enjoy this movie. Harry Potter of course, will be a fun film, I've no worries there. There's another film due out sometime over the summer that I just can't recall right now, but I'm very intrigued to watch it. darn...gonna have to go look that one up.
And the Hoax. I can't wait to see the Hoax. That should be a blast!
Take care Don

I'm looking forward to FF2 as well. I saw the first just last week and I really liked it. It's the kind of film that leaves you wanting more.

I thought so. Light and fun, and matched the personalities and style of the classic eras of the comic perfectly, I felt.
Iron Man is another one whose production is intriguing me. I loved the still of the mark I armor, and the casting has me very excited.
Take care Don

FF2 should be good. I enjoyed the first one very much (especially any moment with the Thing: you had to sympathize with the guy). The only problem I had was Doom being a wuss, for the most part.
Harry Potter is awesome, but I hear that the actress who plays Hermione is definitely not interested in another movie because she has become to popular and has too many fans, or some such.
Don, welcome by the way, and let me ask you: How do you feel about Robert Downey Jr playing Stark?

Spider-Man 3 is the one I'm looking forward to the most with Pirates running a close second. Also looking forward to the new Die Hard movie (big Bruce Willis fan, here)
The Simpsons movie and the Harry Potter movie round out my summer fun.

early word on ff2 is that it was really REALLY REALLY REALLY bad.
the only movie i'm lookin foward to really is sin city 2. maybe the question movie from miller and rob zombies movies too, but the sin city movie did wonderful things for me so i can't wait for part two.

early word on ff2 is that it was really REALLY REALLY REALLY bad. How so? (So far I don't like that we see Doom's face again...I always wanted it left ambiguous, or at least scarred from that freeze-burn thing at the end of the first one...)

they tested it in seattle so i'm sure people had to keep confidentiality on WHY it was bad but really how GOOD can it really be? it's one of those movies people see for the effects and jessica alba but that's about it. if that can carry the movie for you, god bless you but it doesn't do it for me.

Harry Potter. They've been great films so far,and I have a crush on Emma Watson. A big one(what? It started before I was legal,so hence to me it's still valid!).

Do you mean The Spirit?
I saw the picture of the Iron Man Mark I armor and thought it looked pretty good. I'm mildly excited for this movie.

I think that the only person who could play Tony Stark, aside from Downey, would be Favreau. So heh.

i hope he doesnt have that same premature girls voice he had in the first movie. When I was going through the recent posts I was thinking this same thought, and then I saw that you wrote it. I wanted, especially after donning the mask/face-plate, some kind of bad-guy voice that makes me think doom is coming. Hearing what's-his-name's voice only made me think the end of the movie was taking too long to come.

I just saw that trailer for the FF2 movie: not bad. Everything seems to be in the movie; comedy, action, awesome effects. My only concern is whether this is the whole movie...The first FF did so many promotions and showed trailers with a lot of scenes...usually something the producers do to show a lot of the best parts of the movie so that people will come.
But I will remain hopeful and go see it!
