OUT OF THESE, who is your fave super? Please, don't vote for one not on the list. Like I said, the Robin can be any...Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Stephanie, or Tim Drake. ;D

Parker, you slag!
Ok, I vote Superman. Because he's all powerful and knows the difference between right and wrong, and he's not a vigilante like Batman is.

I voted for Static because he is more like Spider-Man. He jokes around.

Hmm....I won't vote, but yeah, while Supes is kewl because he's, well, SUPERman, Batman rocks, too, 'cause he has to NOT fade out in the JLA beside all of the Capes who have super strength, speed, etc.
Before I was even interested in comix I loved Robin, Batman, and Superman fro watching all of the movies/TV shows.
And 'course, I hafta put a good word in for NW;)

I have bias against Big Blue not because of his character, because he's cool, but because everyone I know who really likes him usually only likes him because he can beat anyone. And I live in New York, where a ton of people love the Yankees just because they have great players and have so many championships, but not because they are simply our team...because then they hate on the Mets...and it's like, we have two teams in one city, we should be hyping up both of them...
Anyways, Superman reminds me of that.
I like Bats, because he took himself to human perfection and is pretty much the Golden Age Mr. Terrific, just with a better deductive mind and the use of fear.
I woul have picked Flash because they are what kept me in comics the most over the years...Wally is my generation Flash and the one I most identified with, and I love their history...
But in the end, I chose Nightwing, because the question said who's the best...and while he isn't the strongest or fastest or smartest, the guy is one of the most successful sidekicks besides Wally. He went from being the boy wonder, and all around joke after the 50 and 60s zany comic stories and Adam West's Batman, and still became a cool, kickass character70 years later.
Plus, he's been made into a born leader who can read people pretty well, and is the only person on earth to do a quadruple somersault or somesuch...
The guy is good.

Nightwing. Crow's got it right about him.
although Black Canary comes in a close second on that list.

Okay... clearly I need to state my case for the Dark Knight. Yeah he's human.. Yeah he is freaking scary to some folks, because just is a complete master of the human mind and manipulation... But he overcame his OWN fear.. to bring terror in the hearts that would do harm... He's considered the undisputed World's Greatest Detective... (Sorry Sherlock Holmes fans.. he has you beat by a wide margin.) He is ALSO the bad ass that will kick your butt and keep you alive to ask you questions after he's Muhhamad Ali-ed your booty for a few rounds. The Dark Knight is just THAT good.. bar none. The rest just are imitations of the real deal. Hehe.

Tim Drake Robin is my boy. At least when he was who he was supposed to be.

That list makes me scrath my head. How you gonna add flash, heck even static but not a green lantern?!?
either way i picked superman because he's awesome. more awesomer than batman even who is more awesome then everyone on that list.... except superman.
there is my reasoning.

I'll say Nightwing, but only because Sixpack or any other Section 8 hero isn't on the list.

I'm tossed between Nightwing and Superman.
Superman, since I was a young boy, just inspired me. He is iconic, powerful, heroic and classic. Nightwing, however, until recent years was just the better written character.
Supes suffered from having bland stories and, I think too much power, to where they had to rely on gimmicks to tell stories. Now that he finally seems to have a good array of writers and artists on board, I think the potential is there to see that classic greatness shine through again.
'Wing, with Wolfman at the helm is getting better again, but it's just not quite back up to speed.

Tim Drake Robin is my boy. At least when he was who he was supposed to be. Again, here's where we disagree. I thought Robin came into his own post IXXE. He orders Batman about in his first Post OYL issue, a trusted partner to the Dark Knight, and adopting the playa attitude of Bats himself. Wonder Girl, anyone?

He was already a trusted partner before; and Nightwing shows you don't need to be just like Batman to be a "playa." (That I largely put down that they didn't let Ravager seduce Robin like they should have done. Or Spoiler before her *sniff*.)
He's supposed to be Robin, not Batman Junior; that's the same mistake they made with Jason, and look how "Well" that turned out. *blech*

Everything you don't like, it seems I love.
And stuff you like? I hate.
Terra? We've been over this!
And Jason has become this complex character as the Red Hood (I loved him writtin by Winnick in preOYL Batman), unlike the original Dick Grayson clone of his original appearance!
And I also don't agree that some hip character that suddenly has a fan base should seduce another who's established elsewhere. What's the point of Ravager seducing Robin? There is none. But Wonder Girl and Robin? The sexual tension between them now is palpable. And Kid Devil and Ravager? That there is an awesome combination.

I think we agree on some of the Vertigo stuff.
Ah yes, Terra. Thankfully I get to treat her right here. I hope you can stand it. But going by your reactions to Resistance so far, you probably can.
There's nothing complex about Jason Todd now. Vigilante who kills. Been there done that. And the lead up to OYL? Trying to get Bruce to kill the Joker? What? Do something right, Jason; kill him your own self.
You wanted Robin to be a "playa", Ravager or Spoiler making it so would be a good way to go about it. Don't get me started on Barbie Doll Wonder Girl, who by the way has her own unresolved traitor to be subplot brewing, with her being powered by Ares.

The Flash. The Speed Force let him to make up superpowers a la Silver Age (Which I love) in the current age. Barry Allen and Wally West (The one I see as the Flash always) made the ultimate sacrifice for a greater good (Wally twice, if you count the horrible Zero Hour). Jay is the mentor of a lot of heros in the JSA. But I see them more as an incredibly awesome legacy that extends throughout the centuries.
And even if I had to choose just one of them, any would do.
Flash all the way.

Flash/Impulse, Batman, Robin (Tim Drake), Static, Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner), Superboy (Conner Kent)....so many, I really can't decide. Each one takes the top spot at different times for different reasons. I'll vote for Static just because lately I've been watching the cartoon a lot and writing his DC2 debut.

Crow- I disagree about 'human perfection'. I know this is a bit random and all, but I think that ol' Bats is PRETTY FAR from perfect. I love the character. I really do. But...the guy has some serious issues. Putting Dick through the same 'emotional trauma' he went through as a kid, having a serious bad mouth (though not nearly so bad as Green Arrow's), and trying to alienate himself from the world. He could come up with a better act as Bruce Wayne that isn't NEARLY so stupid or infuriating, and stop 'staying in costume' the entire time of his life!!!
Ok. That's all I have to say about him for now. I really love to read his comix, he's a totally essential member of the JLA, heck, I even have a Batman bookmarker, but the guy just ISN'T at full perfect human potential. He could DEFINITELY clean his mouth and solve his severe character issues...but is still kewl. I DO agree that he is one worth voting for, though;)

There's so many...
For me the best superhero is probably probably umm...hmm...I don't really know right now. JTHM doesn't count as "hero",does he?
And for Superherione,I'm kinda stuck between the Fallen Angel,Mia Dearden,Power Girl,Rose Wilson, and Tara Markov II. I enjoy feisty, tough, opinionated, and sarcastic women.

This poll is not fair. With Nightwing on the list no one else stands a chance.

Actually it's not fair because Dick Grayson is on it twice under two different aliases thus splitting his total potential votes between two different characters...
AND no Green Lantern... it's a travesty of justice, it really is.

Hey! Dick has been Batman as well!
You just can't beat the original boy wonder. Why would a GL even make the list? Like what the heck have they ever done? SERIOUSLY. I think Imari did a great job with the selections.
