I love the GLC incarnation of Guy! He's arrogant without being a downright jerk!

I thought Gardner was cool with his yellow ring and when he was warrior (though he was kida a Marvel's Random knockoff), but GLC made me respect him and wait for each issue.

I liked him best when he was a free agent wielding sinestro's ring.
But I do think he's one of the few doing well under the Didio administration. GLC Guy is good enough for me.

I liked him in Kyle's supporting cast as owner of Warrior's, but I feel he deserves a GL spot. As a higher up in the GLC. I don't care nearly enough about him to read about him, but I don't read GLC so I only see him in cameos. A little Guy goes a long way for me, but I wouldn't want to see him all the time.

I also say JLI Jerk, but that's because I've read more JLI then GLC, and haven't read any of his solo books yet.

Anyways, it's always fun to see the hero who you love to hate, because then anyone who's ass he kicks must be a bigger jerk...But then that makes Guy a bigger Jerk....

Thanks Quester! I appreciate that vote of confidence! Though, apparently, Charlie does not!  He's coming back by the way... very soon! My favorite Guy would have to be the current GLC version as well. It got to the point where I couldn't stand him at all back in the day. His original stint in GLC (from #201 on) was basically as a villain. If you look back at some of the things he did, he was lucky the Guardians were gone... they'd have locked his ass up!

It's funny when creates these 'jerk' characters, not many people like them. But when the company decides to kill them off, the fans are up in arms about it.
I never really care for Guy one or the other. It was cool how Johns returned him to a Green Lantern. I didn't like him in the Justice League when he got the yellow ring and challenge Superman, only to be beaten by the Atom.

I always liked him in the JLI and then again in the I can't believe its not or formerly known as series but I can't remember which he was back in. The journey into the dimension which was kind of like hell but wasn't really hell was pretty awesome. My single favorite Guy Gardner moment was when he took Ice out for thier first date to a porno. She got all offended and then he ended up beating up a reformed Black Hand for NO reason. It was awesome.
