Marvel's stock would plummet and the Ultimate line would cease to exist. The Avengers would be Re-Assembled. Steve Rogers would revealed to be Ronin. More artists would jump to DC. And Batman would never be the same ever again.
Then the fans would protest ever damn thing that Bendis did in DC, like they do you Judd Winick and Dan Didio.
And Jeph Loeb would assume the mantle of Marvel's go-to-guy and he would laugh at all of his powers and he will write Punisher Black, Ghost Rider Red, Wolverine Silver, Iron Man Gold, Captain America White, Thor Orange and Joe Quesada Hot Pink.
And the internet will be $#!ting bricks

This is purely a board for what ifs...I was wondering really what effect do you think he'd have on the DC characters and the DC Universe...would he de and re-assemble the JLA a few dozen times? Have a secret superhero join a team and reveal it to be G'nort?

I don't think we can apply what Bendis has done to Marvel to DC. Totally different beasts, you know? He'd probably just keep doing what DC is doing at the moment, but with more dialogue, or something akin to that? If he was to go to a new company, he isn't going to go all change straight away. Hedge your bets and have him just... Be. He'd write what he was going to write with his Bendisian flare and then RUN RUN RUN OUT OF THE OFFICES!

I think Bendis works much better as "urban gritty superhero" writer then a big leauge capes writer. Realism is his bread and butter, so I would put him on stuff like Catwoman, Nightwing, a new Question series. I would put him on Detective Comics when Dini isn't writting it, the contrast between Morrison's Batman and Bendis' Detective Comics would be intresting to watch.

I believe that if Bendis wrote JLA, it would be interesting, but I would love to see him of Outsiders after Winick's run is done. But I think that after Bendis proved his star power within the DCU, then they would give him more control. Like they did Johns, Winick and Morrison.
