Well, I laughed... Don't you think the chaps at Marvel go out of their way to make themselves look funny? Using this evidence, and your own studies, please discuss that statement. GAAAAAAH! I CAN'T ESCAPE MY EXAMSSSS!

Marvel's perfect excuse to why the books are late.
'Oh sorry One more day is late, but Joe Q. was doing that Marvel TV, so that is ok right?'
Plus Joe what to show off that he lost weight too.
Remeber that Marvel under Quesada is like Animal House and Microsoft combined. They can mess around and put out the books when ever they want and poeple will buy it.

But DC can do a weekly series. Marvel can't even get their books out on time on a monthly bases.
So screw Marvel and their blown deadlines.

My first comic issue I bought was a Marvel Comics Present issue. I also remember reading the tail end of Steve Rogers as the Captain and John Walk as Captain America. I grew up reading Marvel books. Then I read Death in the Family, and found another world of comics. But it wasn't until the return of the Spider-Clone that I decide to pretty much stop reading Marvel for awhile.
Now I see Marvel doing alot of shock and awe stuff, like Spidey's Identity, Cap's death, Magneto's return, and Bucky's return.
Granted I can't comment on Winter Soldier, but I hated the return of Magneto. Grant Morrison killed him and Jean Grey, and their bring him back. And to negate his achievements, House of M happens.
Marvel has dropped the ball a couple of times too. So I would rather read more DCU titles than Marvel and if I stop reading DC, I'll just read Star Wars comics and be done with the big two.

Eurgh, don't get me STARTED on "THE RETURN", 'Chief.
That was disgusting. Simply disgusting. The Death of Captain Marvel GN is one of the only Marvel books I truly treasure, and they basically spat on it and laughed in my face with the release of THAT crap.

Now now, hold on! I know Mar-Vell's return has got everyone going crazy, but has anyone actually read it?
I own it, and I have read it. Nothing in that one-shot says that Mar-Vell's death is no longer in continuity. He wasn't technically resurrected. He was brought forward in time from a point before his death. In the one-shot, it's revealed that Mar-Vell knows he's going to die. He knows he has cancer, and he knows that at some point, it will take his life.

Whenever I went into my LCS that week I read it. And I'm just thinking WHY? What's the point of dilluting (yeah, it is dilluting the character's death some what) with some kind of "brought forward in time" shtick? You've got Genis-Vell for that (Dead, I know, but HIS shtick was ressurection), a viable property with a following. I just don't think anyone should have touched Captain Marvel after Starlin wrote his death. It was an amazing piece of work. Oh, and that Sentry back up sucked too

Well don't worry. You have been inhaling Marvel so much, you got their Legacy Virus. The virus can cause you to think that you will detonate, but in reality you just delaying everything. Giving us time to bake a cake, read Watchmen three times over, and still have time to Wile E. Coyote Quester's trigger for his nuke. Then Charlie and myself will Roadrunner it out of there just in time for the little boom to go off.
They when the smoke clears, Quester you realize the last part of the Legacy Virus makes you think that you performed better, but all you hear are crickets.

While this is a pardoy that is pretty much how I envision Quesada and Friends. Next "episode" I am expecting Quesada to have a dart board with a picture of Mary Jane on it.

Charlie, don't shoot. I can't even bring myself to read Civil War... not after reading about it... BUT...I do like some of the Fantastic Four... and some of the X-Men... and the Amazing Spider-man... I have the first issue, and have read others... 'course, even though there's really no point in it, the Fantastic Five or whateva they were supposed to be were sorta okay. AND (finger OFF the trigger, Charles!) DC has made some pretty stupid comix... such as when they KILLED the BLUE BEETLE, TED!!! And... Agent Diana Prince... still not sure what to think of that...
