I havent been over on the DCMB lately and when I use to go theere to read spoilers I never posted I just read stuff. After reading about three different threads looking for info on the current bet books I need a shower. Why is it so hostile over there? Is it especially bed over there or or I am used to it here where it is especially good? Are many message boards so collectively angry?

SHUT THE HELL UP CHRIS, YOUR OPINION MEANS NOTHING! NOOOOTHING! Yeah, the thing with the DCMB is that it's our fault it's so hostile... Oh wait (for those of you who get that, good on you) I think people are set in their opinions and if you differ from them you are a "troll" even though many trolls are actually REALLY bad. I got banned once because I had a right go at a troll... Funny story actually... But not for now

It's been like that for a while. I haven't been on there much either, but the times I used to be on there often was discouraging. There are feuds between certain members, there are people who reply with hostility to an opinion that differs from their own, and there are some people who look at small things (like a few typos) and scorn a person instead of reading their views.
For anyone who still frequents DCMB: Are they still doing all of those "fantasy teams" and "Versus" boards? I don't think they'll ever end, the countless "Who do you think will win between Captain America and Batman" boards.

I think the general consensus was that it all depends on time and planning, or just an instant fight.

I always thought they were dumb things to argue about because anyone can beat anyone depending on a writer. I mean, just look at the Hulk vs Batman story. Batman beat the Hulk with...what was it...sleeping gas? While being grabbed by the Hulk.
I can't wait til the Wasp takes on Galactus, by the way.

The answer to any Batman Vs. story is simple (and this is basically a direct quote from EVERY single one of those threads) "With enough planning Batman can stop anyone!"
Yeah, that was fun...

I go over to the DCMB maybe twice a month now, just to type "Jonah Hex" into the search engine and see what pops up...when the search engine works, that is. Back when I first got a computer, I'd spend hours there, just reading stuff on all the different boards. Now, I just don't give a damn. Part of it is the inane threads, but also the buggyness of the site, plus I'm tired of my posts being monitored at random.

Heaven forfend you should talk about character *relationships* over there. I was flame-nuked so thoroughly sometimes I still get the twitches.
