I just finished reading the review to Justice League Heroes on IGN.com. Apparently they gave it a 6.4 (passable) and said that the best features are the storyline (Dwayne McDuffie writes, reviewer says storyline is good enough to be a Justice League episode) and the character and level design (alternate costumes are individually made, all new models, not just new costumes).
It fails though in repetition, the 2 player deisgn (during certain battles) a lack of leveling system for less-used characters (and playing 2 players per level, certain characters will be very weak and may be mandatory for use later, for example, the reviewer swapped Hal Jordan for Jon Stewart and left Jon at level 5, only to be made to use Jon in the later levels) and mandatory use of certain characters (for example, you may unlock Green Arrow but may not be able to use him for a few levels). He also mention how it seems Warner Bros may have put restrictions of Snowblind (the game's developer) which may be the reason there aren't more cameos of minor villians or maybe more characters.
Also the reviewer thought it would have been cool to have other unlockable characters like the Atom, and even Plastic Man. Batman, he says, is the worst character, because the game is best played when using their special abilities/powers, and Batman can only call Bats and do other lame powers. Green Lanterns also are very monotonous with their limited set of constructs.
He said though, on the positive side, that JLH had one of the best End-game Boss battles of that genre, ever, period. Period.
Check out the review, or if you find a radically different opinion, post it.
