I have Marvel Masterworks: Uncanny X-Men Vols. 1 and 2, and I like Cockrum's art. It's a shame he's gone. I think it would be a nice idea to dedicate the next issue of Legion of Superheroes to him.  His work really did wonders for them back in the 70s. |

That is very sad. I collected his run on the X-men religiously. An awesome and influential talent who will be missed by many.

It was through Cockrum's work that I got into X-Men in the first place... And through X-Men I got into everything else. RIP sir, you shall be missed.
