Let me remind everyone I am NOT a crazy DCU message boards theorist who combs over every minute detail in 52. I have, as of yet, been just find learning most of the facts/plots as they come.
But, I just got together all of my "52" issues so far, and I was reading issue 6. When Doc Magnus is visiting T.O. Morrow, there is an extreme close up of Morrow cracking an egg from the top that was sitting in this little egg-holder thing. The egg was more than likely a hint towards Egg-Fu (or whatever he prefers to be called).
But also, if you look at the egg holder thing, there is a logo/picture of an atom with rings around it. I am not mistaken to think of the Atom's insignia, which happens to be the same thing.
Now put this all together. Atom is a scientist, one of the top in DCU. After Identity Crisis, he's been through a lot. Could the Atom play an integral part of, or perhaps be in charge of, the scientists on the island?
Not that I would expect him to go this route, but being that this is 52, and even Skeets has gone from a harmless football shaped security bot to a time altering murderous psychopath, it may not be a far stretch.
I'm going to read on and see if I pick up on more clues, but I figured I share this possiblity. Check it out for yourself if you have issue 6.
