Let's narrow that thread down... if you had enough battery power in your walkman (iPod... whatever), while stranded on that damned deserted island, to listen to one last song...
...What would it be?
Mine would probably be 'Push' by the Cure.

awesome song scott. I would have to say... Iron Maiden- Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Its based on the Samuel Coleridge classic and still far more metal than probably whatever Charlie is going to say. also its like 13 minutes long so its got that going for it.

Well, the circumstances would seem to call for Police's "Message In A Bottle" but I've not got that on my iPod so I'll have to go for Kirsty MacColl's "Soho Square" instead.

I'd use some coconuts and seawater to turn the ipod into a transmitter and send an SOS.

HA! EXALT!One song?! Arrgghh! I hate these kinds of decisions. Okay, my first thought was Stairway to Heaven, but I guess I would have to choose "Fernando" by Abba. nah, just kidding. My choice would probably be U2's "One".

I narrowed it down to 3 songs, I wouldn't mind if either of them were my last: Anthony Hamilton - Pass Me Over Gnarls Barkely - Crazy Madvillain - ALL CAPS

The theme song from the Golden Girls.

The theme song to The Greatest American Hero by Joey Scarborough. Kidding (but talk about an awesome 80s TV theme song)! Can I say the medly on "side two" of Abbey Road, which includes Mean Mr. Mustard, Polythene Pam She Came in Through the Bathroom Window and Golden Slumbers? No? Then I'll go with... Al Stewart's Year of the Cat... No! Meat Loaf's For Cryin' Out Loud...? Wait... Billy Joel. Scenes From an Italian Restaurant. Or John Lennon's Watching the Wheels. Arghhh!!!! I am obviously incapable of answering this question. Next person, please...

I would save the last song for when I escape. Because I will. Tying two turtles together with my hair.
But it'll probably be... "Nowhere Man"-The Beatles.

The theme song from the Golden Girls. I was thinking of saying the theme song from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, but I don't need an ipod for that, I know it by heart ;D

Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars. Beautiful. I'd go with Chocolate by Snow Patrol... That's an awesome song! David: I'll give you side two of Abbey Road... but only if you share an earphone! All of these are great (maybe with exception to the Golden Girls theme... you'd choose that over the Family Ties Theme???). Though, as much as I do love the Gnarls Barkley song, I don't think that's the one I'd choose. I'd be walking all over the island singing it... then cannibals would be forced to eat me just to shut me the hell up.

I was thinking "Good-bye Horses" by Q-Lazzarus. If you ever saw Silence of the Lambs or Clerks 2, you should know which song I mean. I would tuck it back, rub my nipples, and "dance" one last time before the iPod battery died. Just kidding. ;D I think I would want the song to be either "Rock Stars" by Non-Phixion, "Thank God" or "Shut Me" Up by Mindless Self Indulgence, "the tussin" by mc chris, or "Anarky in UK" by the Sex Pistols. Any one of those songs would by fine with me because they would remind me of the fantastic summer I had with my friends.

I was thinking of saying the theme song from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, but I don't need an ipod for that, I know it by heart ;D Actually the theme song from Gilligans Island would be the most appropriate. And I am a little confused. Are we all on the same island? If so, I geuss that makes D the skipper and before you even suggest it Charlie you are not the professor. I will now sit and wait for D to hit Charlie on the head with his hat and call him lil buddy.

I don't understand your Gilligan's Island refernce. You should try a Lost reference... Ramon would be... Sawyer. BAAAASTARD!

Ack, rephrasing the question: Cast the DC2 Staff as the Lost characters!
(The Question as Locke?)

Hm...probably "No Tomorrow" by Orson 'cause it'd fit, or a Coldplay song to depress me. Get me ready to kill myself.

See, I think they're good, but they've got nothing new going for them. I'm not sticking around your part of the island anytime soon. I'm going to go look for a hatch.
