I was curious to see who are everyone's top 3 favorite supernatural or magic related characters. From any period of DCU history, hero or villian or somewhere in between. Can have anything to do with magic items, magic powers, or supernatural events.
Tell why you like them and how you like them written (comics, movies, etc) cuz we all know a character can be really good or bad depending on how they're written (ex. Zatanna is hugely different in the various appearences we've seen of her).
Mine are:
[glow=red,2,300]Faust:[/glow] For some reason I like Felix's son a lot. I feel he has some dynamics with the whole emotionless but moral personality that walks the think line of "justice" and "Ends justify the means". And it's pretty hard being a "hero" when everyone naturally hates you/ feels uneasy around you because you have no soul.
I haven't read anything of him from the original Outsides, but I like him a lot in Day of Judgement and especially in Black Baptism, which pretty much revolved around him.
[glow=red,2,300]Constantine:[/glow] Constantine is the man. I think he is fun to read because of his lack of magical prowess but his mastery of cons and "sleight of hand" in real life situations. He can go against the nastiest thnigs out there and still find a way to trick them or kill them. Pretty much anyway he is written is usally well from what's I read of him.
[glow=red,2,300]Zauriel: [/glow]For some reason I really like Zauriel, and honestly he hasn't been used well enough in DC for me to like him. I usually hate angels who are written stereotypically, and by that I mean that they are pretty much like every single angel we've seen in kids movies, cartoons, and "Touched by an Angel". I'd personally like to see him written in a much more unique way.
Those are my three...Now let's hear yours...
