I love free comic book day, because of...well... the free comics! I have aquestion though. Didn't DC give out Justice League Unlimited #1 for free last year? On the site, it says their giving it this year too.
And it's not on the site for some reason, but Dan Adkins is coming to my LCS, Golden Eagle Comics, for a signing. I'm sure I have some old Batman comic he can sign.

I think some publishers got some heat for offering up repeat titles so they added some more on at the last minute. Superman/Batman #1 is supposed to be included but since it wasn't available until late some retailers may have missed it. I like going to FCBD because my store has a large gaming space in the back that they use to set up tables for local creators, fan groups, etc., plus a guy in a Spider-man costume walking around. I,uh, think he's on staff there but I'm not entirely sure. It's a fun time.  |

Every year i get all ready and I am like, "this year i am getting my one free comic" and every year i forget. this year i probably wont go since really it looks like its not worth the 2 bucks i would spend on a bus pass to get there.

Hell the comic shop here by me is run by an A-hole. He probably charges a buck because he's the only shop in town. I usually get my books by work... but now that I'm unemployed I don't know when I'll get back!  |

i can relate. in my old town it was the same way. they would also hold every single issue of new green lantern for their freinds where i was too.
