Looks sorta Connery-ish.

Enh, mixed feelings. Supposedly it's not a prequel but a reboot of Bond in a more modern world. Hmmmm, I dunno, looks cool though from the trailer. Wait WHAT?!?! They're re-booting Bond?!?! How can they do this?!?! (I mean seriously, how can they do this; there's little to no continuity in the Bond universe anyway.) I thought it was just going to be a prequal to the other Bond movies.

I might rent this once it's out on DVD, but I have no intention of seeing this in theaters unless there's nothing else good out in November. To me, the Connery Bond movies are still the best, and I haven't even seen all of them so I'd rather go to those for my Bond fix.
I hope that they are making him a new character instead of Bond, that way they won't screw up the character and I'll be able to watch the movie without thinking "this isn't Bond" the whole time.

Well, it's near impossibe to top the Connery Bond movies, but this new guy (from watching the trailer) reminds me a little bit of a younger Connery (like in Dr. No). I've seen 19 of the 20 Bond movies (SPIKE TV Thanksgiving marathons) and no one can top Connery's Bond. Die Another Day was a good movie, but it was a bit too unrealistic for me. But it looks like they're going back to the roots of what makes Bond Bond for Casino Royale.

Ah, I liked the original Casino Royale with David Niven, Peter Sellers and Woody Allen. If you enjoyed Austin Powers, don't miss watching the original Casino Royale!

Oh no, not at all. But I didn't think it was suppose to be. I always thought of it more as a comedy/parody sort of thing.
