break into the Hero Hotline headquarters
since it is midnight, the only ones there are the REALLY pathetic Night crew heros and telephone opperators
The villains attack at once
Bizzaro grabs Zeep the Living Sponge and smashes him into a wall, thinking he is dead. Card Queen II throws razorsharp cards and kills Sivana's Daughter. Killshot shoots a missle and kills Card Queen II in retaliation. The Hive Agents begin shooting the teleopperators but are stopped by new Hotline member Honey Bee, who covers them with his sticky Honey. He throws some at the other villains, but Babe blows him up sending blood and honey everywhere. Marie the Psychic turtle uses her powers to permenatley shut down the minds of Penny Dreadful and Tao Jones. Babe, once again blows the hero up. Killshot shoots a missle that explodes, killing both Rainbow Man and Chlorino. Thunderhead I, shoots electricity put of his head and kills Hazard I. Bizzaro, who was destoring Sooz the robot, repeats what he did to Human Bomb in IC #1. Ms. Terrific, who isn't Roulette after all is then casually shot by KIllshot who seems bored. Rough House, Bizzaro, Machine Gunn, Killshot, Babe, the Hive Agents, and Kritter, then write BEWARE! on the wall out of blood and depart, leaving Zeep the living sponge the only one alive. (This is an obvious set up to kill some useless nobody's)
Two days later, after the brutal attack is all over the news,

walk down an almost empty street of New York to Darwin Jones/Jason Bard P.I Office. Killshot laughs, and looks through the glass at both of te detectives. He raises his wrists, revealing missle launchers, and shouts NOW! At his command, Machine Gunn, Rough House, Dr. Spectro, Heatstroke, and himself, fire their weapons and powers thorugh the glass and instantly kill the detectives. At the same time however, Guy Gardener and a group of heros fly down

Gardner then tells his crew to tear them to pieces!
Killshot drops the F-Bomb, and tells his group to scatter. Bonfire shoots a blast of fire, and incinerates Kritter. SkyRocket shoots a blast of foam from her suit and exstinguishes Heatstroke. She then flys down andbreaks Heatstroke's neck. Guy Gardener has an argument with his ring over lethal force, but finally gains enough control to blast Roughhouse to pieces. Lodestone, uses her magnetic abillities to rip Machine Gunn's arms out. She then concentrates and raises the iron in his blood. His heart pops 2 panels later.
Crackpot, Zip Kid and Blue Jay chase Dr. Spectro and Killshot into an alley. Cornered, Killshot turns around and shoots Crackpot. Blue Jay and Zip Kid try to help Crackpot but he dies, demanding revenge! During this distraction, the remaing 2 villains escape.
LAter that night, Guy Gardener calls for a press conference. Several newspeople are in attendance, including Clark Kent.
Guy Gardener, "As you know, the slime of the Earth has joined forces together. One day, they decided that they wanted to rid the Earth of the force that would oppose them. 2 Nights ago, they tore apart a group of ameteurs who had no powers to defend themselves. This Afternoon, they did the same. I won't stand for it anymore! We won't stand for it anymore! As of today I am asking that the in these dark times, Earth's heros make sure that such attrocities, Never Happen Again! From now on, the US Government has allowed us to use lethal force! Any Questions?" Cut to the audience where everyone is in shock, including Superman.
