the bottom one has my vote! Ah yes, the final option, aka the "I have no sense of humour" answer.

Dude! I have like the biggest sense of humour known to man! But I just... I never got into the animal funnies because some of them are down right weird! Don't smite me for it!

Ah, so many great choices!
I've read my fair share of Captain Carrot, Peter Porker, and Howard the Duck. I never really got into Cerebus. Underdog rocked and had the best theme song. When the last time Mighty Mouse had a comic? The 80s cartoon was pretty good as early John K. work, but in the following slot to Pee-Wee's Playhouse that was a pretty messed up hour of Saturday morning programming.
But, I'm going with Ninja Turtles. And I am saying this from the perspective of a person who was a fan of them before the toys and cartoons, back when they were a cool, wacky indie book. They cursed and the art was dark and they were doing some cool stuff you didn't see in the mainstream at the time. It rocked, but then Eastman and Laird hit the big time and the next thing you know they were pizza eating, surfer dudes than spout "Cowabunga!" every other word.
And it just wasn't the same. But for a short time there they were pretty darn cool.

Loved Captain Carrot as a kid. I even liked the latest (somewhat dismissive) installment in the recent Teen Titans issues...

When the last time Mighty Mouse had a comic? Mighty Mouse had a short lived series published under Marvel's Star line in the late 80s. Before that I think he had a series published by Gold Key, same publishers of Underdog.

I just have major geek-love for Peter Porker, Spider-Ham.
Or maybe I just like ham and pork in general?
Hmm...

Well I was a little older when the Ninja Turtles showed up, so I'm going with Underdog; which once again shows my age. LOL

I voted for Cerebus the Aardvark. That book was a ringer in this poll! Yes he was a funny animal in a humorous book (from time to time) I laughed out loud a lot while reading it. High Society comes to mind! The rest of the choices are a 'joke' compared to it! But all and all Dave Sims epic 300 issue series was one of the most important graphic novels to come around in the last 40+ years! If you haven't given one of the 'phone books' a try you should! Start with High Society! You won't be disappointed! Or you could continue to snub your nose up at this fine piece of work and go about your life not being as enlightened as you might have been!

Loved Captain Carrot as a kid. I even liked the latest (somewhat dismissive) installment in the recent Teen Titans issues... I'm just trying to figure out what the point was behind it... They could have crammed that into any book... why Teen Titans... I mean, why not? But why? Know what I mean? Tree destroying rubbish gets my vote.

Keep in mind that Captain Carrot and his amazing Zoo Crew first appeared in a short preview in New Teen Titans #16. When the Zoo Crew reappeared, it makes sense that they should do it in the next Titans series.

I am a bit upset that gnort was overlooked myself. nonsense Did Ch'p or Gnort ever have their own series? Heck, Bobo the detective chimp only got in because his backup stories predominently featured his name. Maybe my next poll will be "best funny animal/plant of the GLC".

Hal had to make a first appearance somewhere!
If there was any team that should have their own cartoon, it is the GLC. Imagine Hal, Kyle, John, Guy & 3596 of their compadres flying through the cosmos beatin baddies...
Endless years & seasons of fun if done right!

Michael T Gilbert's The Wraith would have my vote, but it isn't there so it won't.
