It varies, depending on how recently I saw them. For now, let's say:
Schindler's List West Side Story Gone With the Wind West Side Story Good Will Hunting Lord of the Rings Toy Story The Miracle Worker Star Wars: A New Hope Color Purple

Good news Dragonbat! You still have a slot left! Or do you just REALLY like West Side Story?
Starlord: Big Trouble in Little China !?!?!?!? And at number one? That's a bad, bad film.
Now for mine. So here are ten films I really like. I always have trouble doing this, because I always think of more later on. Narrowing it down to ten is nigh on impossible. However, I will give it a go. These are not in any order, since picking ten is bad enough without having to order them. Also, this is a list of my personal favourites, not a list of what I consider the ten 'best' films.
The Sting Mary Poppins Gattaca Casablanca The Star Wars saga The Lion King Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon Ghostbusters Pirates of the Carribean
And yes... A new entry, Batman Begins. I think this is the only thing I've ever seen at the cinema more than twice. Certainly the only thing I've ever seen on an IMAX more than twice!
Ten is far too few slots to cover 100 odd years of film. My favourite director [Tim Burton] doesn't even get a film in my top ten! Not even Ed Wood!
Doubtless I'll be back later to post some amendments!

;D Well now, there is a difference between a really bad movie and a really "good" bad movie. Big Trouble is the absolute best in bad movies and the hero, Jack Burton, is just laugh out loud funny. When I'm down or sick it is the movie that makes me laugh the most.

Actually, I named 10 up there. But if I get a bonus, well, heck. Toss
12 Angry Men
Into the ring. (No slight meant to Inherit the Wind, Citizen Kane, The Great Dictator...)

Maybe Dragonbat just really really loves musicals. ;D
As for my list, in no particular order...(They are all no.1 to me):
- Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - The Big Lebowski - Clerks - Dr Stangelove - Mars Attacks - The Rocky Horror picture show - This is Spinal Tap - Le dîner de cons (I'm astounded hollywood hasn't tried making an american version of this brilliant movie) - Love and Death - Dawn of the dead (the original)

Dogma (theres a shit monster! the waste of golgotha! HA!) Dodgeball (love this film. "Steeeeve the pirate!") Zoolander ("ONE LOOK?!") Loser (Near made me cry. But i didn't.) High Fidelity (Just love this. Loved the book too. Jack Black and John Cussask are two of my favourite actors.) Digimon The Movie (don't ask) Evil Woman Sin City (where every man has a deep husky voice...) School of Rock (love this.) Spider-Man 2 (far superior to the first, even though the first is fantastic)
no order there, sorry... But one day i might put em in one... dunno.

Wait!! Can I group the two LOTR movies and get one more in there. I forgot Best in Show.
although now looking back on it I would probably take out Raiders and put in Spinal Tap. That was one awesome movie!

Hey, Big Trouble in Little China is a very cool movie. I watched it many, many times when I was in high school and it would probably make it into my top 20. One of those 80s movies that was fun but didn't get all the respect it deserved, like Buckaroo Banzai.
Dr. Strangelove! I forgot Dr. Strangelove!

So I did. I could say the second one was for the remake... only there isn't one. Nice catch!

Leonard Nimoy as the voice of Galvatron was great!

The Transformers movie was good. How did they ever persuade Orson Welles to do Unicron? Starlord: Of course you're right. There is such a thing as so-bad-its-good, and Big Trouble in Little China definitely falls into this category. It is very funny. Killerseamonkey: 'It doesn't get the respect it deserves' Hahahahahahahahahahahahah! [Wipes eyes] And they say americans don't understand irony.

evilal: Just because you don't appreciate, doesn't mean you have to hate on it. Besides, have you seen some of the other movies from the 80s? At the time this movie was one of the coolest things going. And try to tell the Lightning dude wasn't the basis for the character in Mortal Kombat. The thing that was weird to me was that the "You Got The Power" song in the Transformers The Movie was the same song that Dirk Diggler sang when he was trying to be a rock star in Boogie Nights. Those are two things that didn't need to be connected in my head.

I just think ten was not enough at all. What about adding your "honorable mentions". Mine woud include: - Reservoir Dogs - Les visiteurs - Brazil - La Florida - Bowling for Columbine - Monty Python and the Holy Grail - Citizen Kane - Top belle pour toi

THATS HILARIOUS! i'd quote a scene, but i'd be banned Spottswoode: From what I.N.T.E.L.L.I.G.N.C.E has gathered, it would be 9/11 times 100. Gary Johnston: 9/11 times a hundred? Jesus, that's... Spottswoode: Yes, 91,100. Chris: Basically, all the worst parts of the bible.
