I don't know. I guess we'll see. The recent development with Barbara makes it seem more possible though because you know they won't follow through on that one.
If he does die though I don't see it as a Barry death. Dick Grayson is one of the top DC stable in terms of character longevity and being recognizable to the public.
Here's the thing I keep wondering, could it be possible for him to be de-aged? That would account for the different Robin and Nightwing teasers. And Dick as Robin again would be too cool!

The main reason I don't think he will die is that Batman is supposed to be a lighter character when all things Crisis are said and done, and I think Dick's death would take him in an even darker direction.

I know there seems to be a lot of worry about Nightwing dying, but my gut really tells me that it's not going to happen. I think this is one of those red herrings that DC is throwing out there. Batman is supposed to be lighter at the end of this. The character is just to ingraned into the DC Universe, and if they are shutting the door on the whole life/death thing, then this is one character they really don't want to lose. Personally, if there is a big character that I see getting the ax, it's Wonder Woman. I have a real bad feeling that this is where they are headed with that character, and then having Donna replace her. ...but Dick...he's going to be just fine. However if he does die, then I will always blame it on Grayson's writing. Just because I will have to blame someone.  |

Diana is rumored to be leading the Suicide Squad when all is said and done. Then again, that is just a rumor. Of which I've also heard that there will be 2 Wonder Women... so who really knows?
I do not think NW will be de-aged... the 1YL Robin is Tim, he's wanted for the murder of someone in the Bat Family & Bruce is trying to 'figure out what to do with him'... I do hope it is a red herring. Nightwing has long been one of my favorite characters that I've stuck with through thick & thin.
I don't think the JSA are going to be on a seperate Earth, since Stargirl, Teriffic & Sandy are still on the team. But since DC's done such a horrible job on getting IC out on schedule, we'll find out in 3 weeks when the next issue of JSA hits... since it's already the 1YL.

Flash will be written by Bilson & DeMayo, the guys that wrote the TV show! I nearly freaked though when I saw the image of the costume... I hated it! But then the caption said they 'may have a costume similar to this one...' Just kidding by the way... I like British people... they talk funny! ;D |

I'll give you guys three guesses on who mine is and the first two don't count.
Someone who managed to get ahold of Villains United #6 two days before it came out told me he died and I flipped $[-]!+, apparently their copy was minus one epilogue.

i think in the case of dick, they have shook him a bit too hard and now they should just give it a break for a while. I mean everywhere I looked last year there was dick dick dick dick dick. they squeezed dick into everywhere they could! I think DC may have milked Dick dry! they seriously went dick crazy and he must be sore by this time.

We've all seen Dick shaken too hard, and they had let him slip for a while, but you know now that Infinite Crisis is starting to kick off, they'll be pushing and pulling him to all the extremes they can think of.

Wow I am sorry I started this mess. I will make amends by giving a real opinion on the original question. Would DC really off Dick? I will say it depends on how hard deathSTROKE can beat Dick. If ole stroke goes too easy on Dick he'll never be offed, at the same time if he's too hard on him the fight would be over too quick and Dick could be offed prematurely. In my opinion that is the last thing you want. If your'e gonna off Dick you have to do it in a good arc that has just the right amount of tissues.Oops, I meant to say issues.
