Which hero would you say is the one you are closest to being obsessed with? The hero that you would go stark raving mad if they actually "Killed" them off? Say like in an airplane with a bomb flying high above Metropolis. ;D

Hmmm... If I had to pick my favorite (though underused and often misused), I'd go with Hawkman...

Hope you won't be too heartbroken after Crisis... D'OH! I'VE SAID TOO MUCH ALREADY!! After everything they've done with the character in the last few years, they'd lose all credibility if they killed him off (again)--- especially so soon after the last year long arc in his own title. I know they're re-titling the book Hawkgirl, but my guess is it's because they'll be putting Carter back where he belongs--- front and center in the JSA as the Chairman. Return to Earth 2 Golden Age greatness! (ooops! I meant to hit quote, and I accidentally hit modify, so I wound up editing your post by mistake! sorry, doc! i fixed it!)

Return to Earth 2 Golden Age greatness! Is that to mean that you think Earth-2 will come back after Crisis? Personally, I don't beleive Earth-2 will return. I think DC learned from the first crisis, they lose a lot of readers when the mess with continuity during a series. All-Star Squadron, Infinity Inc got canceled due to reader leaving after feeling disconnected and disenfranchised. How will this affect Hawkman? Not well, but probably not as bad as Zero Hour did. That should be the next poll; will the multiverse return after Infinite Crisis!

I don't think that the multiverse will return, per se, except maybe to be ackowledged and used to draw future story potential out of. DC threw away a goldmine when they did away with it, and Infinite Crisis may be their way to try to reclaim it.

I DC threw away a goldmine when they did away with it, and Infinite Crisis may be their way to try to reclaim it. Yeah, I felt that way years after Crisis ended the multiverse. After three Superman series and four (?) Batman series were running simultaneously, I thought each title should be in it's own universe; that way writers could feel comfortable doing big stories without stepping on the toes of the other writers on the other books. Only problem with that idea is that big changes (like deaths), are sapped of their shock value (Joker died in Detective Comics, good thing he's still in Batman). And for those nay-sayers who think that wouldn't work, think about Marvel's Ultimate Series! Edit: broke up the run-on sentance from hell!

Still ticked about Hawkeye from the Avengers but for DC purposes still ticked about Jonah Hex (I want a proper burial for his corpse). Still alive characters - it would be Adam Strange--I keep hoping his unique place in the DC universe protects him. Come to think of it still -again- ticked- about Gold from the Metal Men. I keep score and a long memory.

Blue Beetle.
What? Oh Dammit!
OK...
I'd say Dick Grayson, but I fear his days are numbered. I'd say Hal Jordan, but been there, done that. I'd say the Flash, but he's been dead before too. I think Mark Waid promised to kill off Wally so often & the Crisis threatens that it is going to kill off Wally, so they probably won't... Just to throw us off.
I would honestly have to say Superman.
Even though he's been dead before too, but come on, we all knew he'd be back. "They can't permanently kill off Supes".
I'd say knock off Bruce Wayne. It would piss so many people off... but it would just make sense. Promote Dick or Tim to the role...
No, that would probably piss me off too...
Superman.
Final Answer.

I was thinking Batman at first, but then I realised that I've come to like Nightwing a little, tiny, tiny bit more than Bruce, even with Devin Grayson's tampering...so Dick Grayson gets my vote without a doubt.

Do you really think they'll off Dick? I have my doubts. We already know Wally is fine and well somewhere out there.

Unless they're just really trying to mislead the public (which is quite possible), I do. I honestly think Wally will live, Nightwing will die. Bat-family members cannot be happy... it goes against everything. I believe it is why they brought Jason Todd back from the dead. It has all lead up to this. One son will die, so the other (less deserving son) can live.
