I read the new Green Lantern today co starring Batman. It got me thinkoing who in the DCU would really have the wil power to use it? It nearly killed Ollie to use it in Rebirth. Personally I think Roy Harper could do it. If he has the will to quite herione I don't see why he couldn't pull it off. Who do you think could do it snd why?

Superman could... in fact, did anyone ever read the Armageddon 2001 Superman annual when he had one?
Nightwing could. Aquaman, maybe... but he's full of too much self-doubt.

i don't think superman could. in my opinion he spends all his time restraining himself, that to make that switch to wanting things to happen bad enough, it wouldnt work. I guess if hes used it before, than that is that, but like i said he is too concerned with not harming people and not using his maximum potential to the point where he wouldnt be able to work the ring.

Possibly Deathstroke the Terminator, as seen in Identity Crisis.

Apperently Geoff Johns thinks Batman could but I don't think so. In Hush it took Jim Gordon to stop him from beating Joker to death. There have been other times where he has nearly given in to the darker side and pulled back by someone else.

Definitely Deathstroke, if Ollie hadn't stopped him, he would have killed Kyle with his own ring. Oh and Ambush Bug... of course.

I would also like to add Oracle. She has the willpower to overcome being handicapped and remain prominent in the DCU. I think she could do it. And wouldn't it be a cool visual when she got up and walked away with the green glow all around her.

What about Ted Kord?
Despairo said that Ted had a strong will, only surpassed by the martian. Interesting, since Guy Gardner was in that fight too.

I don't think I've read that. Do you know what issue/ series that is in? I like stories where they take(took ) Ted somewhat seriously. There were times when he appeared even smarter than Batman. It's really too bad that one of his best stories is the one where he dies. That being said be here next month for his DC2 debut!(shameless just shameless) Written by me.

It was written during the Giffen/DeMatteis days. JLA #38 and 39 were written pretty seriously, and the humour was put aside to tell a pretty chilling tale. Here's the cover:

I picked up all four issues and loved them, it was awesome!!! It really fleshed out most of the characters on the team. Although, does anyone know what happened to Mister Miracle? I don't think thathe was the real Scott Free.

Regarding Deadshot's question (in inviso-text):
Mister Miracle had his own series at the time, and he was kidnapped to go on an intergalactic tour. He was replaced by a flakey robot (that's why Miracle acts kinda weird). When Scott Free got back and heard thr robot had "died" it caused more headaches than if he had just "disappeared" for a while.
