This is a primarily NW-oriented fangroup. And they're currently holding Fan Art and Fanfic challenges.

My sincere apologies to the artists! the deadline is Friday. Not being artistically inclined myself, I didn't pay attention...
1) Okay, to help drum up some activity on the board, I would like to hold an art contest!
I would like people to pencil, ink, render, paint, sculpt, draw out of ketchup, etc... an original picture of Nightwing. Then the members will vote and the best picture will win a prize!
Please post your pictures here by March 31st. I'll let you guys know the prize then (I'll make it a good one, I promise!). Voting will last until April 5th.
One entry per person. Please don't create an alias so that you can enter more than once. We can tell when you have alts. No purchase necessary (there's nothing to buy anyway). Moderators will cast a tie breaking vote, however moderators who enter cannot cast a tiebreaking vote. Hmm... I can't think of any other important legal mumbo-jumbo.
2) I would like to now open the doors to the NW Fan Fiction contest!
Since writing is a pretty intricate process, please post an original fan fiction story about Nightwing (or Dick Grayson, or Robin I) here by April 21st. That's just about a month. I'm not going to put a page length on it, but please don't write more than 20 pages or something.
Anyone who is not a professional writer (being paid by a company to write) may enter. Please keep the rating around PG-13. If you already entered the art contest, you MAY ALSO enter this.
After this thread is locked, voting will begin and last until April 30th (so that people have enough time to read all the stories). Tie breakers will be decided by moderators in a second vote off. Moderators who enter cannot vote in the tie breaker.
What's the prize, you ask? Well... I'm working on that. But it'll be good, I promise. it won't be another mini-statute, it will most likely be artwork by joe dodd.
