Jem? Like Jem and the Holograms, Jem? Ha!
I have the soundtrack for the Buffy Musical. You just can't beat the Spike song, "Let Me Rest in Peace".
A side note, I'm really enjoying the song "Invincible" by OK GO. At first I thought it was a Superman themed song but after about the third verse I figured it out, but still a cool song.

A fellow Boingoloid!!! How cool is that? One band I have to say that I think is way overplayed & overrated (don't anyone go throwing things at me now) Green Day. Everytime I turn on the damn radio I hear something from American Idiot. I think they've had, what, 20 singles from that album? ;D I just have had enough & I can't take it anymore!!! I know it's probably a testament to their ability, but with every album, radio just starts playing the Hell out of them. All of my GD CD's have made that fateful trip back to the Wherehouse for their used CD racks & they've been deleted from my I-Pod. I just can't take it anymore! AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

HERE HERE Scott! although I must admit, i still listen to Insomniac every now and then. American Idiot is just an over commercialized pseudo call to arms for everything they've become. not to get on a soap box, but they preach about being individuals and the wrongs of modern society while becoming as pop oriented and marketable as possible to buy into what they are "rebelling" against. they have just really irritated me as of late. and what's with the tight pants, make up, and fake British accents (true they've had those along but still!) aren't they a little old for some of that stuff?
AAARRRGGGHHH!!!
we lanterns think alike indeed.

Concerts...let's see... Elton John-3 times (Idle is right...the best) U2-6times (except for these guys) Van Halen-3 times (once with Diamond Dave and twice with my man Sammy) Pink Floyd-1 (think it was good, don't remember he he) Huey Lewis and the News -1 (shockingly good) Blondie-1 (Deborah can sing) Phil Collins-2 (and proud to say it) Genesis-1 (Collins at his very best) Cher-1 (nuff said) Scorpians-2 (opened for Cher...not really but good shows) Kenny Rogers-1 (now that's the embarrassing one.) Depeche Mode-1 (rocked the house) Styx-2 (theatrical rock IMO, and great) and I won't even go into my list of musicals because that could take a page in itself.

in the theme scott, the girls say something along the lines of "our songs are better" Sorry, I'm old & I hated the show... my little sister loved it... It just got in the way of me watching GI Joe & Transformers! Now there were theme songs!

ok, let's try a new question along the same theme. What are two or three songs that can really "rev you up and get the motor running" and two or three that can just choke you up and/or bring tears to your eyes! My Revs are: Running With the Devil - Van Halen You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC Do You Hear the People Sing - Les Mis and my "weepers" Amazing Grace - most versions but on bag pipe's really effect me. (must be a Wrath of Kahn thing) Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas - makes me think of those in my family who are gone. On My Own (Les Mis) - unrequited love. Who hasn't been there once in our lives... next....

Rev me up:
Having a Hunch (Suessical, the Musical by Ahrens and Flaherty) Defying Gravity (Wicked) Not Going Down (Jo Dee Messina)
Choke me up:
Finale to Les Mis Love, Me (Colin Ray) Til We Reach That Day (Ragtime)

Defying Gravity, huh? Now why doesn't that surprise me. And I'm the same way with the finale for Les Mis. In fact there's about three or four times that the music and words can really get to me in that musical.
