A lot of title are going to be getting new teams in less than 6 months from now (after Crisis is done). Some teams were announced, other haven't. I'm curious to know...
If you could assign a creative team to a title, what would it be?
I personally would like to see Gail Simone doing Justice league, with either Phil Jimenez or Rags Morales. She has a real knack for getting the most mileagle out of any characters, so seeing her writing the most powerful team should be very interesting.
I know she's writing a small serial in Justice League Classified, but I'd like to see a long running story arc by her.

Gail Simone - I'd keep her on Birds of Prey, but I agree. Give her JLA as well. Then we might get Dinah twice a month. :-D I'd possibly give her Supergirl, but only if she could cope.
Peter David - I want him back. In any form, really. Well, not for Supergirl, because though he could redeem the character, a lot of people would shy away from it, given his last Supergirl series.
Paul Dini - I'd like to see him write a monthly series. Something with Zatanna, Madame Xanadu, and some of the other magick-users in the DCU.
I'll probably amend this title as more thoughts come to mind, but this is how it stands as of now...

Gail Simone on JLA would be great, I'd love to give her double duty and do the JSA as well. Although I really never want her to leave BoP. That book has never been so good (and I liked it before). There was a rumor I heard that Marv Wolfman may return to Teen Titans. Talk about a gift from the gods. And if they could bring Perez back it would make it perfect once again. I would also love to see Grant Morrison bring Animal Man back.

I hate change. LOL. I'm really bummbed about Gotham Knights too. I really liked that book. Sounds like there's a lot of rebooting going to happen. <heavy sigh>

The bit about the first few issues of 52* has me a bit worried, since that's what they did after the last Crisis, I've heard.

I'm a little nervous about this myself, as I think Rucka's run has been particularly good. I hope he's on for the re-boot (with Nicola Scott as the artist--- she's perfect for this character!).

From what I heard it's Allen Heinberg (the dude that's writing Young Avengers) and Terry Dodson. The sad thing is, I really liked Rucka's run. He's the one person who's written Diana as I'd always thought she should be written...a perfect mix of warrior, princess, diplomat, and human.
I just hope they don't completely undermine everything he's done...

is the current rucka wonder woman run as good as everyone seems to think? i am just curious. i read the first few issues of the run and it just didn't grab me.
also, does anyone know if all of the restarts of the current dcu titles will start with new number ones?

I think the new restarts should be starting from number 1, yes. The only title change I know of - as yet - where the number does not change, is when "Hawkman" is renamed "Hawkgirl" with issue 50.
The first few issues of his run, I think, was to set up the world that she lived in for what he had planned. From, I want to say, the end of that first arc onwards, it started to get more and more interesting.

I'd love to see Gail on WW (though I like Rucka) and JLA.
Johns on Supermanand a Bat-title...
Rucka on a Suicide Squad title.

Also, put Roy Thomas on JSA, get Mark Waid the hell off LSH, and devote some top-talent to Aquaman!

I just saw Feb. release dates on DC books and Marv Wolfman is on the Teen Titans Ann. and co. writing on Teen Titans. I read awhile back that Geoff Jones, Mark Waid, and Judd Winick are taking a editorial postion to control character continuity. I think Marv Wolfman is going to start writing Teen Titans again.
Also JSA is being writing by Paul Levitz with art by George Perez. I only bad thing is Alex Ross won't be doing the covers anymore. I trade that for Perez any day of the week.
