Not too sure, but I do think that a lot of the pre-COIE history for the characters did return.
Don't know, just yet, when Supes met the LSH... but in Action Comics Annual he met Mon-El and that was pretty much a straightforward update of Mon-El's original origin.

Holy Moley, Geoff Johns is leaving this title with issue #26 (and Holy Moley, I scooped Charlie on comic news )! I am very nervous, as this was one of the titles that brought me back to comics. It will be weird to see someone else writing it...

That's horrible news david. JSA is always at the top of my reading list and can't imagine it without Johns. I checked his website and he said he'll eventually come back. He also said the new creative team never worked with the JSA before. He also said he is looking forward to their run. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I'll give it.... let's say till the end of the first arc by the new team (trying to be fair as no one can live up to johns on this title)... after that if it's not up to par, it gets cut from my pull list

I have to say that I'm glad that a new writer is coming. As much as I enjoy Geoff's GL, as much I hate his JSoA. The longer the Gog arc was the more I wanted to throw all my JSA comics out of the window. I even canceled my preorders. Now knowing that Geoff leaves I'm going to stick around just to see who the new writer will be and how he handles the team.

I hope Peter Tomasi takes up the title. Dunno why, but I think he would do a good job on it. And he needs a new project, now that Nightwing is cancelled.

I think I know why.... BECAUSE TOMASI IS FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!! He's right up there with Geoff Johns to me.... actually I think I give him a slight edge of geoff because he writes the bat-family so well..... which, I'm sad to say geoff isn't very good at outside of Tim Drake.... his Nightwing is alright but his Batman is very uninteresting..... but yea, Tomasi should definitely be writing more books, seeing as his GL Corps is totally rad!

Tomasi would be on of my faves too. He or JMS or Rucka.

Hadn't thought about it, but JMS might be a good fit for the book, but Tomasi... I adore his stuff.
