I had really began to love Waid's run but the Supergirl part threw me off. Now even though I have voiced my opinion on the "S" being used to up a property, that isn't my primary concern. But since she's been there , hell even before she got there, the title seemed to be losing focus on a point. I think you need a focal point to direct the series and Waid has lost it.

We began with traitors and Legion politics.

We continued into a battle with Terra Firma and some cool concepts behind characters like Princess Projectra and Micro Lad/ Collossal Lad.

Then at the end, it completely lost a real direction. We have Brainy's ressurection of Dream Girl lasting for many issues and not really telling us anything, we have Supergirl showing up but not doing much for many issues but telling everyone their from her imagination, and we have a Legion as a whole dividing slowly with random little tales in between.

I'm not sure if it's Waid's fault or DC. Maybe with the whole 52 going on, and One Year Later arcs wrapping up or continuing, Waid has to stall for time or something before he can really use Sueprgirl. Maybe he had other ideas in mind and he was forced to change them because of the Crisis. Who knows. But what I do know is that it's lacking something.

They need to start moving the Legion. Adding in more classic members and maybe revamping a few lesser known ones with cool, unique concepts. Reintroduce Mon-El, X-S (my personal fave because I love the Flash family and I'm wondering whether she still exists), one of the Quantum Kids (Jazmin I'd hope), Dawnstar, Wildfire, Blok, R. L. Brande, the works. Whoever is cool and unique and can add chemistry to the title.

On Legion's of the past, I had enjoyed the run that followed Legion Lost and Legion Worlds, the title called the Legion that was written by DnA. I didn't read the whole thing, but I enjoyed the first arc and a bit of the second.
