I don't think the line-up will stick. Superboy will be back. I like how they brought the Wonder Twins in. Cyborg is already trying to find a way to get everyone back in. It also kind of looks like they are moving towards some of Titans tomorrow stuff from that arc. With Tim getting more like Batman and Rose being around and all. I like it and I think Geoff will do a great job.

I think I'm probably in the minority, but I like this line-up. The latest issue, guest-starring the Doom Patrol, was one of the best of this title, all year. Can't wait to see where this goes.
Not a real big Superboy fan, but his death certainly has made Wonder Girl a more interesting character (and Robin a little weird--- his Dad died recently, too, but I don't see him trying to clone him--- what's up there?).
Ravager is shaking up this team, and Kid Devil is still an enigma, but where the hell did the de-aged Zatara go? I'm really looking forward to hearing his story...

I'm not liking how the Chief is potrayed! He's gone villainous again, but I like how they're keeping all the previous incarnations in continuity... But I picked up the 35 and 36 (I think) and they're alright, but I can't find 34, the first OYL issue (I think!) so I'm kinda upset... But I'm liking all of it... Nice team dynamic...

The kiss with Cass? Hmm. I dunno. But at least her character has changed (ONCE MORE) from 52. She's a beatch there! But it'll be awkward between them I'm assuming. Reeeal awkward.

This title has been consistently one of the better ones post-Crisis, and it looks like they have some interesting stuff coming up (I can't wait to see Miss Martian again!).

Did anyone actually like the art? I didn't. Couldn't keep up. It was... Eww! Heh. But with the return of someone new/old... Well. I like this muchly. But Slade's looking a bit... Rough, isn't he? But that's probably just the crappy fill-in artists work, eh?

Yeah, the fill in artists drawings are pretty odd.

see, i love this title but one thing REALLY threw me off, after robin was about to start running the bases on ol' wonder girl, he all of the sudden is like, lets keep trying to bring connor back. why would he want to do that? he should be like, psh, forget connor lets go somewhere quite cassie, but he didn't... why? because of his loyaltly to his ex best friend right? wrong, the reason he is so crazy in his attempts to get him back can be summed up in two words. three way.

I'm not a big fan of Connor, Tim and Cassie (kinda strikes me as the OC meets DC), and I think Tim's obsssession with bringing Connor back is a little unhealthy (I'm with Ramon on this one--- he needs to make a play for Wonder Girl!), but this title is consistently good. Good story, good art (well, except the last issue), and some neat stuff in the works (Titans East!).
Gotta say: I love some of the new characters! Miss Martian, Zachary Zatara, Ravager and Kid Devil could be a team of their own!

I read the issues with Doom Patrol and really liked what they did with them. I'm interested in the Titans East so maybe I'll read some of those.

***SPOILER**************
I was really thrilled to see Jericho return. He was always one of my favorites. I like some of the new charactes as well... except I'm not to sure about Miss Martian. Suddenly I'm seeing green martians popping up everywhere.
I think in Tim's defense, he doesn't have very many close friends and losing Conner so close to losing his dad and having Bats kind of lose his marbles for a while, well... he misses his buddy. It is time for him to move on, though. Although I'd really like to see him hook up with Raven. Or an older woman... maybe Starfire? ;D

I agree with you on Tim's reason fro bringing Conner back Starlord. It would definitely be interesting if he did hook up with Raven, especially now that they're the same age. As for him and Starfire, that would also be interesting to see but I'm more of a Dick/Kory person myself.

oh god, please not let him get with raven, it would be an emo overload... also it would cause those rabid deviant art teen titans cartoon fans foam at the mouth and that's the last things those crazies need... another reason to foam.

I've dropped this book. It wasn't doing anything for me anymore, the OYL arc was awesome, but then it peetered out with the "Titans Around The World" arc. Snejbjerg's issue was a redeeming feature, sure... But I'm a sucker for his stuff...

Titans East rule!
I really can't put my finger down on why, but I liked them. I love the "team VS evil/alternate version of the team fights". I love team fights. Too much, I say. Unhealthily too much. Maybe I'll do something like that one day.
Now, my favorite member of the Titans East? Inertia and Kid Crusader tie. I love the Flash and Kid Devil, and the idea of a religious hero in the bad side is great.
Only one bad point. Nothing "really happens" in the issue. Just fights. He fights this, and that fights she. And the Bombshell thing seemed unnecessary.

The issue is just the beginning of the arc. Next one should have something more happen in it. I like Inertia and Kid Crusader too, but seeing Deathstroke leading them will definitely be interesting. Deathstroke is basically my all-time favorite villain of the DCU

I'm liking the current arc. Comics, to a certain extent, should be static (so Batman doesn't age out of his crime-fighting role), but Geoff Johns has a tendancy towards evolving his characters that usually works pretty well (it's why he's so good on JSA and Teen Titans, but not so much on Action--- at least in my opnion), even though he sometimes revels in the destruction of those characters (please see the Heywood Family Picnic Massacre in JSA# 3 to see what I'm talking about)!
On a side note: best fight scene of the month last month:
Hawkman taking on the Neo-Nazi's of Vandal Savage's Fourth Reich, or...
Supergirl vs. Batgirl. That was pretty neato (loved those Red K swords BG had)!

I like how Geoff evolves his characters as well. I like it when a writer actually shows growth in the characters. Tough choice. I'm gonna have to go with Supergirl vs. Batgirl, mostly because of the Red K swords. Those were just too cool! Batgirl would have definitely killed Supergirl if those crystal-spike things hadn't suddenly appeared out of S-Girl's back and injured Batgirl.

Hoo-boy--- I don't believe I'm going to say this, but... I didn't hate the first issue of Judd Winick's Titans. I know...! Now, there wasn't a whole lot to love about it, either (well, except for the Starfire sunbathing scene--- it's the kind of thing Marv and George would have done, too: sexy and innocent at the same time, classic Koriand'r), but it didn't suck, and I so want this team to stick around (I just hope Judd doesn't ruin them before a better writer comes along). I didn't read the Titans East special that precedes it, and I don't feel I missed anything either (pretty easy to piece together), and I was kinda disappointed in the rehash of the villain (okay, Trigon is a cool world-conquering villain, but how many times do you kill him off, then bring him back?), but I will reserve final judd-gement until this plays out (you know, I would have gone a different route, kinda like what they did with Mongul: make it one of Trigon's bastards out to destroy his rival sister and her meddling friends, and go all balls-to-the-wall inter-dimensional epic)! I gave it a 3 out of five--- but I threw an extra star in for the art (which, apparently, is changing next issue ). I liked it better than the guy at Newsarama, though. He trashed it!

Well, I don't dislike Winnick as much as other's, but I usually can spot his major whole's in his plots. But I did enjoy this first issue quite a bit. The only thing I wish he would have done was to recap what had happened in the East Coast Special, since it took me forever to figure out what had happened. As for the revelation of the villain, I kind of thought that was cool. Sure, he's one of the those that dies and comes back, but he's also one of the Titans top three baddies in my opinion, so I'm down with it. Anyway, the dead always come back in comics.

Interesting to the fallout of Cassie and Tim's relationship when he goes and visit her. She was self-absorbed thinking that Tim was there to talk more about their break up. Seeing Ravager taking center stage was good for me. Seeing her kick ass was awesome.

Did some one say Wonder Twins? I dont recall them bringing in a incarnation of the twins. They do have the genius twins from the super friends series which i marked out for. and Seeing Wonder Dog made my year. ( im a sucker for such things.) But no Wonder Twins, no wonder twins powers activate. Into the shape of an ice bridge. Into the shape of a bucket of water....nope dont recall. Did I miss an issue?
