I'm so looking forward to this. Outside of the US, we get our comics on Thursdays, so the titles doesn't hold true for us, but tomorrow I'm going to be out the house like a flash, and I'm going to get me one of these!
Thoughts?

YMMV. It really didn't do all that much for me, but if you're looking forward to it, I hope you enjoy.

I was looking forward to this, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I thought that all the stories suffered for the fact that they had to be 100% accessible and all of the stories were the first part of a twelve part serial, but they were wonderful! The styles were eclectic, the stories enthralling, and I loved the overall style of the project. I've never seen such an enjoyable collection of stories under one banner. It's the perfect anti-event title!
I thought that the pricing was a bit much, $3.99 for a newsprint, fourteen page collection? One that is inherently going to fall apart after any real wear-and-tear? DC should have taken a massive leap of faith, and marketed it at a much lower price, and I would have purchased two, one to read and dribble over, and one to keep stored away.
It was brilliant. I loved it. And I'll keep buying it.

This was awesome.
Don't worry about what it is, Mr. Clown, just go out to your LCS and buy it. You won't be disappointed.
Can't decide if my favorite page was Hawkman, Kamandi, Metamorpho, Deadman or Adam Strange--- and just the fact that I can type a sentence with those words in it is frickin' cool. Hell, I got a kick out of all of them (with the possible exception of Teen Titans and Wonder Woman). Even Metal Men! It's amazing what can be done with one page and talented creators.
Well done, DC!

I really enjoyed this as well. Favorites for me were Metal Men (of which I've never been a huge fan), Supergirl and Metamorpho.
Only one that didn't thrill me was Wonder Woman. I gave it to my kids to read before they left for camping. Can't wait to see what they thought.

It had something for everyone-- and was pretty timeless in execution too, thanks to each story being non-continuity. I wonder how they're going to collect it...
