Heck yeah I'm getting this series!
So far Klarion has really stood out to me. The concept behind the Manhattan Guardian is brilliant as well as the new take on Shining Knight (and wasn't that a shocking reveal in the fourth issue huh).
As far as the next batch I'm really looking forward to the Frankenstein book and the idea of his using Shilo as Mister Miracle is great. I had thought everyone had forgotten about that little bit of continuity!
Yep, I'm on the look out for Issue One and will hate to see any of these characters get offed but I'm sure it will be a cool story either way.

I'm getting them all, because Morrison tells a good story (though sometimes a vague one); he's the most visceral writer working today, I'd venture to say. The big reveal in Shining Knight was good--- never saw it coming (but then, GM always plays with his readers' expectations--- which id why I'm really looking forward to his All-Star take on Superman). I'm digging Zatanna the most, right now, but I'm looking forward to Mr. Miracle (but who is Shiloh?)...

JLE/JL era Mr Miracle.
I loved the last issue of Guardian, and the last page *jaw drops*

I've committed to buying all of these because I liked the idea of telling a big story via mini series. It sounded original and an impressive project to attempt. I have to say I haven't enjoyed it that much so far. I agree with killerseamonkey that Klarion has been the standout. Having said that both Shining Knight and Guardian ended on a high note. If he can do that with Zatanna I will be most impressed. I'm looking forward to Mr Miracle too. I liked what little I've read of Shiloh [Last Laugh mini-series].

Mr Miracle wasnt as gripping as the others... But I enjoy the New Gods, so I'll stick with it...
But for now, Grant Morrisons ideas for this series seem a bit TOO MUCH weird.

I read the #0 issue and really didn't care for it. I haven't really liked any of his work since he came back to DC. Except maybe the animal one. I think it was We3. I guess I still miss him on the X-Men.

Was anyone else sickened slightly near the end of Mister Miracle #3?
Frankenstein was alright, very nice art. Dirty looking.

Mr Miracle was burned alive, beaten in till he lost near all his teeth, then they opened his legs up and brought out some bolt cutters from their car...

I read the Zatanna one (I'm a HUGE Zee fan) and Klarion, both of which were good, though I might have liked Zatanna a bit better.
He did a much better job than I expected.

How was #1 for an ending? Morrison really tried to pull it together but I couldn't keep up! He had to drop the ball somewhere and it's here where he did. So much metaphysical stuff going on and it just didn't make as near as much sense than it had to. I mean... What happened with Vigilante (Even though his appearances in Bulleteer were inspiring! ) and his death? I loved every single mini and I must say that it didn't seem worth the wait, even though JGJ's art was a sight to behold, and his ability to mimic everyone elses styles without sacraficing any of his own quality was astonishing! *** stars as a finale to one of the greatest maxi-series from DC in the past two years but I'm afraid to say, as a stand alone issue, it was only **!
