Really nice build up of tension. Strong character work helped develop what was essentially alot of exposition. That level of exposition isnt necessarily bad if handled well and, my friend, it definetly was. A couple of things I had to read twice as it felt major info was left out...then I realised it was and intentionally so, so that was fine. The first intro before the title which talked about a dead Starbreaker under the sun and then a live one under the moon was a brilliant play on words and a really well developed image.
A great issue that sucked me and leaves me wanting the next one. Just wish it had a cover lol

Just wish it had a cover lol I know why we haven't got a cover this issue, and I don't mind because something more important came up, so if it comes it comes, if it doesn't, I can live with that. I loved writing that opening. Pure shlock, the kind of thing I like doing but am trying to move away from, but fun none the less. And yes, my one fear is that the exposition of this title will get too heavy, but balancing it out with the interaction between different characters, the different team-ups, completely a blast to do. See you next issue!

Eli Cadavona really stepped up and delivered a cover in a really brief time, and I'm pleased to say he's on the next issue too. Shame Ramon couldn't follow up his first, but I know he's quite busy in "Real Life" so it's no big worry, especially when you get sharp work like this.
