Best bit was the ending!
Freaking fantastic cliff hanger, and it left me staring at the screen saying:
His WHAT?!

Good. Very well done. It left me wanting to read on.
Nice job.
One question. I may have been out of the loop for some time....but I thought Jax-Ur was a male scientist.

Great story! You got right to it and threw two of Superman's biggest enemies at him right off. Can't wait to read more.

One question. I may have been out of the loop for some time....but I thought Jax-Ur was a male scientist. Exactly right, Dylan. Good catch! Faora is the daughter of Jax-Ur. In Kryptonian nomenclature, daughters take their fathers' whole name as their surname (thus Kara Zor-El, Faora Jax-Ur), at least until they're married.

In Kryptonian nomenclature, daughters take their fathers' whole name as their surname (thus Kara Zor-El, Faora Jax-Ur), at least until they're married. Since the only female I can remember from the PZ HAD no surname and was an extreme male hater, I have to assume that you grafted her linage to Jax-Ur's line. Not bad. Wow!!!!
This was a great read! You had me at hello!
Seriously though, Supes has never been my number one favorites, but it was really enjoyable. And I LOVE cliffhanger endings. So you had me from beginning to end. Good job.

New guy here. I liked the story, a good mix of older stuff for us older fans and action and adventure to keep new fans interested. Nice intrigue with Luthor too. I like the twist at the end. WIll be interested to see where you take it.

Wow David I must say I really enjoyed the first issue! Cliffhanger endings are the best. You really have set the bar high for all the stories that are to follow! ( I better polish up my proposal before I submit!)

Great first issue. The dialog was great and the characterizations were spot-on. It held my attention and I can't wait to read the next issue. Great job.

another strange way of approaching a zero issue.
scenes of lois, clark and perry seem to be troublesome for writers. almost all of the scenes i've read on this site involving those three read a little corny and cliche.
i actually liked most of this. dialogue is tough to write--esp in the superhero genre--but the rest of the prose was pretty engaging.
superman seems to be fairly intimately attuned and connected to kryptonian culture, though...i mean, considering his upbringing...

New to the site and working my way thru the catalogue of back issues....
Great, exciting way to start. I was impressed with the bang on characterizations of Year 1 type Clark, Lois, Perry and Lex.
I can't wait to read the next part.

Best bit was the ending! Freaking fantastic cliff hanger, and it left me staring at the screen saying: His WHAT?!I agree whole-heartedly (SP?) house. I knew something like that would happen, but not in that way! Excellent work!
