Me personally I liked it but I think I may be a bit biased on that front. (I did like it quite a bit Crow. I can't wait for the next one either.)

A fun issue, and I'm really enjoying Noah. The Luthor story is intriguing, especially with what is going on over in Action Comics. Strong characterization and solid story telling here. Once again showing that Orin is in great hands, and I'll keep coming back for more!

Thank you very much for the comments guys! Glad to see that there are still fans of Orin and that I'm delivering a solid story. I appreciate the feedback and I'm glad you guys are enjoying the arc... and Krystal, you'll be getting something soon enough!

I noticed you did something the big boys refuse to do; you named names. By which I mean you used the name of a deity that a great many of your readers may believe in. Namely Jehovah. Most writers use euphenisms when writing about God. They change his name to the Presence, the Source, the Friend or something similiar. It is considered too controversial in a mainstream book even if they do use other parts of the story. I don't know if it is the medium or your own personal courage we have to thank for this but I for one am glad to finally see someone use the name without using the euphemism.

I greatly appreciate the compliments: I chose to use an actual name not because I am of that particular denomination of faith or that this character is tied to that faith. When I re-imaged Noah as this false-prophet like character, and being that he is being made from the part of the Bible when God was referred to as Jehovah in certain parts, I figured it was more realistic for a man of faith to use a direct name. You wouldn't normally hear a fundamentalist christian or muslim saying "the Presence", they'd be saying "Jesus Almghty" or "Praiseworthy Allah" or somesuch. Thank you once again and hope you all continue to enjoy the stories!

Interesting twists in this issue! I must say, I am getting a little tired of Aquaman being perceived as an enemy of the surface world (they do the same thing to him in the DCU, too, and it drives me nuts--- part and parcel of the hideousness of comics in the 90s--- everything just had to be edgy, or X-Menish), but I can see that it's part of the Noah plot, so I will reserve judgement until we see how that ends up.
Not sure how I'm liking the Captain Nemo subplot...? There seems to be a vogue to throw outside properties into DC stories, that I am wholly against. Nemo works in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen beacuse, well, that's the conceit of the whole premise! But here, it just feels awkward... Why not just Krell? He's a fascinating character, already established, and one we'd like to see more of. I liked seeing him in this issue, but he served no purpose other than to get out some exposition with Luthor...!
Two things saved this issue for me: Arthur's history lesson to Mera was fun (though oddly placed as a flashback), and the Red Torpedo saving the day!
(Glad I read this, as I just put his memorial statue in the JSA Museum! I'll have to take it down, now!)
Awesome ending! Definately brings me back for more!
Oh, and the cover by Riz was gorgeous!
