"Oh, I'm so angry! Oh, but he might make a good king! Oh, screw that-- Revenge!"
This was a rip-roaring issue, a perfect continuation of the previous cliffhanger. Garth to the rescue didn't feel at all bad-- once I remembered that Arthur had a SWORD. THROUGH HIS CHEST. I felt sorry for Orm, a brilliant piece of characterisation on your part, Pat, and Thanatos' development, whilst at times forced, worked for me. He's becoming less two-dimensional, and the guilt he felt is an interesting facet I can't wait to be explored.
Can't wait to see the cover (I hear it's coming), and I cannot WAIT for the return you promise at the end!
Well done, Pat! Keep up the good work!

"Oh, I'm so angry! Oh, but he might make a good king! Oh, screw that-- Revenge!" In a nutshell, that is EXACTLY what happened ;D Thanks. Though this two issue arc had quite a bit of action it was mostly character driven in retrospect. As you may have noticed this issue focused heavily on the relationship between Orin and his brother, going from the present timeline, to important events between the two of them. I tried really hard to make the reader understand that Orm isn't just some guy who is like "domination!", but he actually thinks he's doing this for the betterment of everyone though he's mostly driven by envy of his brother deep down. Hopefully that came across during the issue. Thanatos' doubt at the end will be heavily expanded on in coming issues. Though he is the DC2 version of AJ Curry from DCU, I'm trying to veer far away from the DCU version of him and give him an interesting and I hope exciting story of his own that leaves out fish-faced Aquamen, nonsense origins, and all that stuff that came out of Sword of Atalantis(you can probably tell I wasn't a fan of that lol) Yeah next issue will be exciting with HIS return and I'm going to be writing the issue in a way I've never written anything for this site before so I'm praying it turns out well. Thanks for reading!

Wow, talk about a thrill ride! This is just more proof that DC2 is smack dab in the middle of its first recisconce. Character driven battles are the absolute best because it makes those stakes SO high.
Job well done to everyone. 5 stars for both story and awesome cover.
