Fantastic issue. The Sea Devils should be a lot of fun!
O.G.R.E. is pretty scary and Scavenger will have his day! But I've never heard of King Kragen--- he sounds badass, though.
That cover...! Continues the dominance of Paul Johnson as the leading interpretor of Aquaman on the DC2.
Five stars fellas! Hope I do you proud next month!

Continues the dominance of Paul Johnson as the leading interpretor of Aquaman on the DC2. Five stars fellas! Hope I do you proud next month! Thanks for reading David and I'm glad you liked it! Big plans this year for Aquaman and we're just at the tip of the iceberg when it comes to O.G.R.E.'s new setup. Scavenger is going to be brought to the forefront now after the build up with Mortimer I had previously. King Kraken was actually a Batman villain in DCU proper during Grant Morrison's run as a member of the Club of Villains during RIP. After checking if he'd ever been used before in DC2(which he hadn't), I asked Charlie if he would be okay with me snatching a Batman villain and transforming him into an Aquaman villain, which seemed realistic considering his old school scuba gear. Charlie had no problem and voila, King Kraken has been brought to the DC2. Looking forward to seeing your Aquaman story next month, Dave!
