Not bad, I liked the difference in intimidation techniques the two used. *I'll float beside his window until he wets himself* *Bah! I'm a crazy SOB in a batsuit! FEAR ME!!* All in all, four stars I'd say.

Great issue, and the second promising debut of the week! I also really enjoyed the Superman perspective. The dynamic between him and Batman was intense and clicked just right! This is a nice glimpse of what we can expect from Batman after the Crisis (glad I finished "City of Crime" first)! Five stars from me, Grant! (But the interior are from Syl isn't working )

I loved this issue Grant; everything was spot on, I don't have anything to bring up by ways of improvements of changes I would've made.
re interior artwork; the links were on deviantart but they seem to have changed their servers around. Updated photobucket links coming soon!

I really enjoyed this story, and thought Grant did an awesome job on showing the dichotomy of the friendship between these two. I, too, am looking forward to seeing where Grant takes this book. I've become a big fan in a short amount of time.

Using Superman to "See" Batman....very clever.
I know what the RW business is about, of course.
But Joker killed WHO?!?

Hey guys!
Thanks for the kind words! I am glad you enjoyed the story! I will post more later, but I have been hip deep in the launch of By the Blade the last few weeks, so I slowly catching up on the DC2 issues i missed!
As for the interior art...it should be working now so please go back and take a look. It's very cool stuff and adds a new dimension to the story.

Using Superman to "See" Batman....very clever. I know what the RW business is about, of course. But Joker killed WHO?!? oh well go back to some of the early DC2 Batman stories and you'll learn how the Joker struck a vicious blow to Batman. Charlie was the author of those stories, as I recall.

“Knock it off, Kent. You’re x-ray vision interferes with my equipment,” he says, without looking up at me. “And stop floating. It’s annoying.”
That line right there was all I needed to decide that this was a five star story. Superman's perspective was brilliant and Batman was perfect. Everything just flows effortlessly off the screen.
Since this story takes place between 21-22 there is some interesting stuff coming. Can't wait for the sequel to COC!
Great job Grant!

Nice issue - and unlike last time these two met, there's plenty of Bats to warrant this being in his title, despite being in supe's pov. Four stars!
