I have to comment the artists who have done the covers for this so far. Great work guys you have really added to the atmosphere I hoped for around this series. Drdread did the newest one and I am loving it. Great work Doc.

It's getting good! Normally the "middle issues" seem like filler, but the story is progressing, characters are developing, and we get some AC/DC! Awesome! Can't wait for #4 (something I've not even asked to see yet, as I don't want to ruin the surprise for myself!) and to smile as the story concludes with, I'm sure, a bang! Or a loud shout of: "BRAAAINS!"

Drdread did the newest one and I am loving it. Great work Doc. Thanks! Glad you like it. One trivial point about the cover. I was trying to find a way to fit in zombie versions of Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte, but none of the designs worked for me. That's right... it would have been a Sex and the City of the Dead cover.

Great stuff Chris! This really was the best chapter so far. You've got a good handle on a lot of characters that appeared here. My favorite scene had to be President Lord and the General. A Cuban cigar? Those are illegal, aren't they? I still think Max is President was a stroke of brilliance. All in all a good read! I will be waiting anxiously for the conclusion.

Boy, Gotham City's sure taking it on the chin lately.
I also thought this was the best one yet. Zombie horror, Batgirl & Nightwing, Green Arrow & Batman, and the Question singing Alanis & AC/DC. Lots of humor to lighten the load (and many of these characters are pretty funny), and a lot of plot threads to tie up before this is over.
One more week to go, and I can't wait to see how this pans out.

Maybe I missed something, because contrary to the reactions of the others that read this, this issue seemed to me the weakest installment so far. I liked it, but it just kinda seemed like more of the same, not really building on the promise of the first two issues, and holding the tension until the finale next week.
And for some reason, the Question's flippancy seemed really out of place here (Alanis Morrisette?!?). Although, Vic did have the coolest subplot in the story (I got chills when I realized where he was going and what he was doing). I guess I just don't understand other characters' reaction to him. He's kinda the DC2 hipster, when he should be the noir detective in the shadows, right?
The clifhanger was a bit flat, too. I'm not sure if I understood what the menace was: a generator?
Regardless of the above criticism, I am enjoying this mini, and am eagerly looking forward to next week's finale!
Doc, fantastic cover! I know it's Christopher Lee under that Scarecrow hood, I just know it!

What you all seem to be forgetting is that Vic Sage was in Arkham Asylum for six months! He's a certified loon! But still... What's wrong with Alanis?

I'll be honest I did feel that more of the chaos on the streets could have been conveyed better. That was what I had tried to do with showing the Gordon/Bullock scene. Hope you like the finale better.

Okay, this issue proves it: the Question just too much fun. I recall hearing about the possibility of Bruce's parents becoming zombified when this story was still an idea floating around the writer's office, and wasn't sure if you'd actually dare to go through with it. Well, not only did you dare, you sent out Vic to take care of the problem! "Quest-O-Spade"? Hilarious!
Oh, and the rest of the story was good, too. ;D

You know for some strange reason I thought this was an Elseworlds until this issue. My bad.
Hope Gordon and Bullock enjoyed playing "Doom". *ducks thrown objects*
Right about now I want to knock President Lord and Question's heads together. Question probably has a plan, but even so I have bad vibes about it.
And a generator from Apocalpyse...that's ALWAYS bad news.
Dick and Babs....*smile*
You know the strangest thing? The whole business makes me strangely nostalgic for when the print comics had actual lettercols like you guys do....

Poor Vic, he's just trying to protect his friend from seeing zombies of his parents. Can you imagine how moody BAtman would be after that. Thaink of it as a favor to everyone. I remember those letter columns they were a lot of fun but those bastards never printed any of mine and I never got a baldy.
Thank you for reading!

This was a great issue all and all. The third act of a four act story is truly the hardest to tell in my opinion. I think you did a great job of moving the story by using the characters involved to move the plot along. You had great pairings along the way with Gordon/Bullock, Batgirl/Nightwing, Bats/GA, and with Beetle, Question, and Max Lord thrown in the mix!
Knowing how this story ends may make it hard for me to see what David sees in this installment but I would have loved to see more Zombies. Never can have too many can you?
Charlie added some great flare with his Question stuff. I am never too sure how to interpret it but it's usually pretty fun stuff!
Doc definitely added a great cover to this already great collection of inspired covers. I am afraid to admit it but I am curious what the Sex in the City of the dead cover might have looked like! In the TPB collection perhaps?
Next weeks final installment should be a blast and I great payoff for everyone who has invested their time in this story!

Thank you John! Actually the Question stuff was both of us and Charlies parts were all through the story. He added some bigtime flavor to what I started out with in this issue and I am glad he helped out. Some of the better lines and the way certain characters were handled in general are Charlies icing on the undead cake and I thank him kindly.

Um... Thanks?
Yes, Chris wrote so much cool potential into the book, I just helped bring out some of the less obvious bits. I mean come on, Alanis? That was really a joint decision. I was going for some Journey, but you know, Chris rules in this book, in more ways than one! Can't wait for the finale...
