This was a fast paced adventure as the COTU were dropped head first into the Crisis. I really found myself enjoying the Metal Men's involvement in this tale more then I thought I would! Haley coming to grips with the situation was very dramatic and heartfelt! Was it wrong to giggle when Doctor Bedlam was pissed off at the end? Who cares! Great job Kevin. It was a lot of fun!
EDIT: The cover was wicked cool. A man that that can draw and write (and there are quiet a few around here!) What's a poor writer like myself to do?

a well crafted story. The use of Dr. Bedlam here was executed perfectly. Nice depiction of Apokolips. Solid.

I'd have probably enjoyed this more if I read the regular title. Having said that, it was easy enough to follow, and fairly entertaining (liked the way you handled Bedlam; enjoyed the brief appearance of a guest star that I was really surprised to see - presumably I'll have to keep on reading this title if I want to see how he fits into things).

Another fun issue! Can't wait to see where some of these guest-stars take the story.
Lots of unanswered questions, here. What's happening to the Challengers, why are they jumping through time and space, what's Pramble's plan--- and how come we have a more mature Ace Morgan in Tales of the Green Lantern Corps (who's happily married to June Robbins), and a younger Ace in CoTU, adventuring with the daughter of June!
Can't wait to see where this one goes!

That was my whole goal with this issue. Not only to tie in with this massive cross-over that's engulfing the entire Universe but also to write just one fun story and hope that everyone enjoys what I was doing! ;D

Well did you pulled off both, Kevin! A realy entertaining story here. Bedlam and his animates were a real treat. I've enjoyed this series from the beginning, and now I get to read them before they drop. That's a great treat for me. ;D Excellent job, sir, you deserve to pat yourself on the back! Very well done cover, as well.

I never thought I would read COTU in my life, but when I saw that it was a Crisis tie-in, I was compelled to read it. I wasn't disappointed! Now thanks to you I'm going to search for TPB's on COTU! That's more money that I have lost to DC because of this site.

Thanks for the kind words Starlord and Speeddemon! As I have mentioned before, The Challs have been a Favorite of mine for 30 years and everyone is welcome in the Church of the Unknown!!

Indeed, I enjoyed this too, but, like David, found myself wondering why Ace is young again and not married to June. I look forward to seeing where this goes as well. Especially since Ace & June will be returning in the new Green Lantern series.
I liked the portrayal of Bedlam... very cool. I don't know anything about the character, so I don't know how 'accurate' it was, but seeing as how this is our universe, who cares, right? I would like to see if Bedlam decides to use the new technology left in the lab (Platinum's arm) to create new weapons... if that is the plan (come on, you left that wide open, that is the plan, right?)!
Again, not knowing anything about the character, is Swamp Thing always kind of... for lack of better terms... oafish? He seemed to be more like a blunt instrument of destruction. Again, this may be right on, I don't know...
Anyway, solid issue!

I don't know anything about the COTU so this was an introduction of sorts for me. I enjoyed the issue even though I didn't know any of the players.
Except Tina. What was she doing here?
And uh... Swamp Thing?
But there was more than enough action to hold my interest. Maybe I should look at the COTU a little more closely. I suspect this crisis thing will lead me to explore a few more titles. Good job.
