Excellent work, as always. A wonderful end to a wonderful arc. Everyone was handled in a very satisfying way, and nothing felt forced or rushed. I love Speed so much, and all of your characters have such shimmering and distinct personalities. Can't wait to see what happens to them next!

Wow! And I do mean WOW!!! What a grand finish to this story. It was jammed with so much action it left me breathless. I think Speed is my newest favorite character on this site! I can see where he is fun to write.
The Queen was a great foe and I can't wait for the next issue!
And the cover was breath taking!
5 stars all the way around.

A great read as usual Don. Sorry about the missing exclamation mark on the title. I was in a mad dash to get the dressing done.

Ah, my morning Starbucks, bagel--- and jaunt down the Danger Trail! This is becomming quite the nice little tradition for me, as this title is one of the best-written adventure books on the site. I love the pulp atmosphere and the characters who seem to come to life off the page. I certainly hope this isn't the last we've seen of Andrew Bennett or his deadly bride (though the chance they might have survived the inferno at the end is not good ). The Dragon Queen shows her "true colors" in a nice twist and a chilling moment--- and I know we'll see her again. Speed is a favorite, of course, but I also have to respect the Hammer from Hell! Faraday shows a lot of promise, and I look forward to re-visiting man called Midnight soon. Thanks for a thrilling opening arc, Don, and for a lot of enjoyment over breakfast! Five stars!

wow...I'm like a morning shmear. Well, could be a lot of worse things! It's nice to be a part of morning ritual, Dave, thanks for having me over. There's more to all our villains, never you fear. Andrew and Mary have been dueling through the centuries, and will continue to do so, as you'll see when you get to "The Stolen Myth Affair" which rounds out year one. And of course, plenty of more Dragon Queen, here and other places. Speed, Faraday, Midnight and Hans...who'd have thought they'd make such a fun little group? Even I wasn't sure about that, but it works somehow. There's more fun characters and connections to come as well, and it's a blast to help these guys find some new fans. Each reader seems to latch onto different characters and that's the best to be said for an ensemble title like this. Look forward to tomorrow morning, and make my bagel onion. Take care Don
