Faraday Vs Midnight? Was the winner ever in doubt? Tight issue Don, thanks for the "Previously..." blurb

Another great issue. I'm really loving Harriet's role in this book. And everytime I think I've got a favorite character, Don turns around and makes me love a different one even more.
Awesome cover as well. I honestly can't get enough of this book.
5 very well deserved stars!

once again, your complete mastery of characters carries you through splendidly Speed's struggling with his feelings was excellently done, and the confrotnation between Midnight and Faraday was wonderful to see. great job as always, and, as always, looking forward to more!

Thanks guys. I'm enjoying writing Danger Trail, even if it's a tough one sometimes, and your compliments and comments (and critiques when they show up) make it worth it. Brian, I agree. I love Harriet. At first, I just needed someone to translate the Ineffable Libram, and wanted to take someone from DC's vast repertoire. There were no real experts close to that field, but I figured taking Harriet would be just a fun little Easter egg. But no...oh no! Not Harriet. She's no person's trophy, apparently, and now she's firmly worked her way into my cast, so get ready to learn much more about her in the coming months. Faraday vs. Midnight...might not go the way you think in the future, Charlie, when the two of them really go at it. But this time, Faraday was able to whisper to Midnight while the other minions couldn't hear that it was for them to set up a trap on Doctor Zero. That Faraday...even rough around the edges, he's a thinker. Granted, with the way the two of them think... a real throwdown has to be on the horizon, right? And for the record, each time I think I have a favorite in this series, someone comes along to prove me wrong. I think Michael Gallant and Argent St. Cloud, getting the limelight in the Nation of Murder next issue, just might go to proving that. Stick around and find out. Take care Don

Brilliant conclusion to "The Man in Stitches Affair!" Loved Doctor Zero as a new villain (at least I think he's new, as I can't remember him from anything else, but I wouldn't put it past Don to have dredged him out from an issue of Smash Comics from 1940, or something like that ), and look forward to him troubling Our Heroes again. The re-animates were scary and fun (and of course, I love all the HPL shout-outs: the West formula, the reference to Delta Green last issue)--- and that cover pic of Franken-midnight by Brandon was the perfect accompaniment to this exciting issue! Looking forward to seeing how the military conspiracy develops--- and what role Faraday will play in taking it apart! Most intriguing was the lovely Argent St Cloud, and the equally dashing (and doomed?!?) Michael Gallant. What mysterious mission has Rose Psychic set her on, will Rose's consort make another appearance, and more importantly what does this all have to do with the forebodingly named "Nation of Murder"...? I love how all this story flows organically from one issue to the next, building in one, coming to a head in another... And yet, I get the impression these are all bits and pieces of a much larger canvas, upon which Don is only gradually pulling back the curtain--- and I'll bet it's all bound up (Heh!) with the Ineffable Libram! I guess I'm just going to have to read the next issue to find out! Five exuberant stars!

Oh, and nice use of James Doolittle! It's good to mix in historical figures with the historical-fictional figures! Lends the whole thing the verisimilitude of the best literary fiction.
