Well holy shit, that was a conclusion and a half. Things come together, things stay open, but damn if that wasn't a satisfying finale for this brilliant bloody arc. I loved seeing aspects of the Danger Trailers come together with New Outsiders, even if it was a soft crossover at that. I kind of want Dove to stick around the NO, but I don't think that's happening-- but if he's not in that team, maybe he'll be appearing in one of mine? Seriously though, the character work throughout this arc, throughout both NO and DT since the beginning, has been spot on, and I'm so glad to have had this opportunity to read a crossover that involves two of the premier teams on the DC2. I consider NO to be the spine of the site (bahhh!!!) and DT is a worthy title to see crossover with it. Now, if only Don and I can settle on our DT/7SoV/SSoSV crossover... oh, wait... ;D

Holy crap! Now THAT was a rumble! And a satisfying (of a sort) conclusion to the crossover that will have repercussions throughout both of these titles. (cue soap opera announcer) Will Trin and Midnight ever meet each other again? What villainy will Black Beauty do next? And will Nicodemus pursue her? What will the clash between the old and new Church of Blood mean for everyone? What will become of Ramsey? Who will be the new (and true) Champion of St. Dumas? Can Batwoman be saved? And will he (see NO #50) help or harm?

Thanks a lot, Charlie and James. Brian and I put a lot of hard work into this crossover, and it just kept getting larger and larger with each chapter, as we discovered more and more characters (new and old) creeping into the narrative. By the end, there was three and a half-dozen running around across two time periods.
Working with Brian, and with Mark and Jamie as editor and cover artist, was a great time and I appreciate all the hard work from these others. There'll be aftermath from this for both titles, and Brian and I have several other close-knit ties that will bring the New Outsiders and other disparate elements of the DC2U into closer orbit with the greater Earth-One, and we can't wait for it.
Jamie, thanks for the covers, you did great, some of your best work, and thank you very, very much. And for everyone still to come and read it: I can't wait to see what you all think.
Take care Don

I'll second what Don said. Jamie deserves a great big standing ovation for his amazing covers and this final chapter's cover was a real show stopper. Great job!
It was a true honor and a lot of fun working with Don and Mark on this as well. And a special thank you to Don for shouldering the load while I spent most of this event in the hospital and recovering from surgery.
I not only had fun, but learned a lot from Don as well. But my absolute favorite part of working on this event was the late night phone conversations. They were really something to look forward to.
So thank you Don, and a standing ovation from me as well for wrapping this up so eloquently. Bravo!

This was amazing, Don, well worth the massive amount of work you put into it. I loved the takedown of the abbess, just such a wonderfully-done scene. It was great to see Johnny again, albeit briefly, and if he had to go, well at least he did it with more style than most And god, poor Trin. I hope this isn't the end of them. So many threads to keep following, in this title and in NO, and I'll make sure to be there to see them
