Please tell us what you thought of the three stories inside this months issue! And sorry for the delay with getting this out, real life attacked me with a large knife, and it took a few weeks to fight it off...

Ellen. Wow. This was so effective. I mean, we don't normally delve too much into the nature of the Batman/Joker relationship, unless you count Morrison's current... Dissection. Cutting and cutting until you get the rawest versions you can (but it's a bit unnecessary and not reflected anywhere else in the DCU!proper) but I never really think we need to see that. The best stories with these guys are the quiet ones (something I'm aware of for the new year...) and that final moment was a gut punch I didn't really need to read, but bloody hell did it hit home hard...
Don, I love your handle of this character, and it's serendipitous that DrDread did the cover of this issue. Both of you have a love of the character that has surprised me over the time I've known you, and seeing these two creative minds come together, even disparately and through no communication. The serial here (and it is a serial, in the grandest sense of the word) is building with every instalment, and this part was no different. There were several moments I adored, such as the "I'm blind!" sequence, which made perfect sense and put a smile on my face for the entirety of the story, even though maybe there shouldn't have been... Especially considering that last line. Crikey, is this the month of harrowing final moments?

It is a hard road to walk as a true hero, but Batman does. Every single day. Joker can rationalize all he wants, insane or not, but Bats has to walk the high road. Very well done.
Lee and Wing are an awesome take on Green Hornet and Kato, and I want more! My favorite story this issue.
The Aquaman story balanced humor and horror; I'm certainly interested, and I'm watching to see where it goes.

The Aquaman story balanced humor and horror; I'm certainly interested, and I'm watching to see where it goes. This was originally intended as an actual Aquaman arc over on the main title (green-lit in the early stages by Mischief), but I decided to move it over here instead, due to some conflicts over on that book. That being said, this was a really fun, self aware story to start writing, and like Dial "H" for HERO! will post bimonthly, alternating with that fine piece of silver age goodness. This also gives me more time to write it

Glad you liked the Batman story! This is one of the ones I wrote when I signed up for a 50-fic prompt table.

Ellen- Well-written, easy to get into, and I definitely laughed a couple times. It's ground that's been covered plenty of times though, and i'm not sure there was enough of a new take. Still enjoyable, but I feel like i've read it before.
Don- What a great ride. I love the pulp feel, and you do great balancing the action and the humor. "I'm blind!" XD and wow, a hell of an ending. I can't wait to see what happens next!
Charlie- don't take it as a snub, i'll try and get back to Aquaman later XD

Ellen - Excellent! With such a short piece you were able to convey so much, reminding everyone of the complex relationship that Batman and Joker have built over the years. And I love your Joker!
Don - Have to agree with Sam on this one. You do Pulp like nobody's business! And that last paragraph was one of those moments that you just didn't want to read, but couldn't help yourself. Completely engrossing. Can't wait for the next chapter.
Charlie - VERY nice! It had an "Alien" feel to it that I really loved. I just hope something doesn't pop out of Laura's chest. Although if it did, I know you would do it with that finesse you have for those scene's.
Somebody needs to tell Arthur to shave! LOL!
Excellent job everyone!

Mockingbird, this has been posted a few places before so you might have found it on ff.net. (Also there was a little bit extra that got cut because it referenced DCU canon...)
Brian, that is praise indeed. I'm never quite sure I've gotten Joker...
