A fantastic collection of Christmas tales. I feel honored to be in the company. I enjoyed each of them in turn, and to pick a favorite would be hard.
And such a simple, evocative cover to sum it all up.
Good work all!
Take care Don

I want to thank everyone involved! You all did a great job and it was fun to read everyone's entry. Everyone did an excellent job!
Also a huge thank-you to Ramon for another great cover and to Mark for helping with the editing, and also to Don for allowing me the opprotunity to take a JL character and advance them forward a bit.
Merry Christmas everyone!

I'm in a mad rush, so I've only read one story , the Christmas Trail, and I have to say, I enjoyed this so very much. I've not been able to keep up with many monthlies over the past few months because of mounting school work and some original writing I'm trying to get out, so I thought I'd read this Christmas installment of the Danger Trail, and I have to say, I'm glad I did! The narrative voice was amazing, the detail in every scene astonishing, and the aerial battle... Wow. The end of Chapter one made me smile, and the entirety of Chapter two allowed me to keep smiling. Very well done Don. I'm going to pace myself with this special, so expect a review a day until I'm done!

I agree, "The Christmas Trail" was great. You'll be happy to know, Don, that the first part was accompanied by Joe Kubert artwork in my head. ;D Nice to see the Question is back...although I'm not sure how this is possible. Guess that's why they call him the Question! And Ray proposed! How sweet! Now that's a Christmas to remember!

Everyone did such a great job, didn't they, Susan! Three years into this site and I'm still overwhelmed at the talent that permeats through this place... yourself included! Glad you liked Ray's proposal. I was elated when I was given the green light to do it, and I've always thought proposing on Christmas or Christmas Eve was very romantic. Oh, and right back at ya! ;D

Kubert artwork? No greater compliment can be given to me, Susan. Thanks a lot. I can easily repay the compliment by mentioning that Gray Morrow imagery kept running through my head during your story. Or a Rod Serling story directed by Howard Hawkes. LOL At different points, both thoughts ran through my mind.
I'm thrilled to see Ray get some development in this story, and I think Ray and Jean's romance is fantastic to see...especially on Christmas Eve.
And in case they don't get mentioned, because of their length in such a huge product, I absolutely loved the two short-short stories. Brilliant move pairing them together, and they were very sweet and moving.
Thanks for the kind words and great work back to you all.
Merry Christmas!
Take care Don

Hey!
I sell... turkeys?!?
;D
Loved all the stories herein--- even the ones that weren't really stories, per se (I'm just thankful we didn't get a glimpse of Bruce passing the stuffing to Dick)--- but I gotta say my favorite was a tie between Susan's and Roy's: I'm a sucker for those endings!

Y'know, I didn't even realize there was a whole second page of stories until you guys started mentioning things I hadn't read! But now I read 'em, and they were all good too. I found the Captain Marvel one a bit odd, just substituting the regular names in "A Christmas Carol" for Marvel Family names, but I give you points for including the Lieutenant Marvels as the Spirits of Christmas. Glad you folks liked the Vigilante story. I've actually had the notion of time-lost Greg running into his grandfather in the back of my head for over a year, but the how was escaping me until I decided to set it during Christmas. It just seemed appropriate. And just so you know, I've got a few more ideas for Christmas stories brewing in my head now, but you'll have to wait 'til next year to start seeing them!
