That's it! The end of a series started way back in 2007, when we had the One Year Later event after IXE: The Apokolips Imperative! It's been a long time coming, and I'm glad I've finally had the opportunity to tie up the series in pretty much the way I intended to! This series couldn't have come out without Masoud House and Mark Bowers on early editing duties; Ramon Villalobos on the superb covers he delivered, Sylvain Swimer, who graced #1 with some awesomely creepy interiors, and especially Don Walsh, whose collaboration with the later issues made this a fantastically fun series to wrap up.
So, for the last time in this miniseries-- please, tell us what you thought of this issue!

....Is it over? After all of this time? Seriously nice work Charlie, I know about half the crap you had to deal with while working on this title, and that probably would have been enough for me to say screw it. You stuck with it though, and created a superb story exploring an aspect of the DC2 that's been sorely lacking. Aside from works like Crow's Faust mini, there has been nothing else that really delved into the mystical world of the DC2 like this, and it was a great ride all the way through. Be proud buddy, great job.

....Is it over? After all of this time? Yes. It is. You cheeky sonofagun. You stuck with it though, and created a superb story exploring an aspect of the DC2 that's been sorely lacking. Thanks Mike, it's been a while since it began (*head/desk*) but I think it's worth finishing up, unlike, *cough*, Versus (shut up, Dave!!). Aside from works like Crow's Faust mini, there has been nothing else that really delved into the mystical world of the DC2 like this, and it was a great ride all the way through. Be proud buddy, great job. Good call on Crow's Faust, but the magical side of the DC2 is seen every issue of Danger Trail and Seven Soldiers of Victory, both by Don Walsh, also in elements of Dave Charlton's Justice Society of America stuff if I'm not mistaken, and Brian Burchette and Mark Bower's Zatanna. Oh, also in my own DC2 Nemesis (/shameless) too. I think there's a really cool variety of genres permeating the DC2, allowing for more than just "superhero" stories. I'm glad you enjoyed the issue, and it makes writing it worth it after all these... years... Lordy.

The issue started out a bit rambly, but finished strong. Love conquers all, y'know? The ending still makes me think of that other Doctor and Rose, though...but in good ways, friend, in good ways.

Thanks for your feedback, Susie, it's always appreciated. I knew what I had to do with this issue, and worked on this issue for months before it saw the light of day. And I'm glad you liked the ending, there were multiple versions that I weighed up to use, but in the end, we kept the series open ended... because we intend to follow up on the events-- again! And if you're talking about Doomsday, I didn't set out for it to be like that, but hey, I'll take all the comparisons to that piece of beauty that I can
