Thanks! I was so happpy about some of the sequences I came up for him, especially the part where he bites off the monsters head. Well, I'm really excited about this issue folks and hope everyone enjoys it. A lot went into this issue and it will hopefully set a standard for action in this series. And with all of our heroes still around maybe we'll see a few more of these epic sequences. Stay 'Tooned!!!

The first issue set up the premise but this one nailed it. I thought the characters were well-portrayed and the action scenes imaginative and engaging. You said you haven't read the Grant Morrison run but you must have intuited some of it from somewhere because this story captures a very Vertigo-type of feel. You certainly didn't disappoint with this one, Chase. As a a fan of this group, this was an entertaining and great Doom Patrol read!

This was great work! I agree with KSM that this one really nailed it. Every character was portrayed extremely well and the action had me rivited. Terrific job!

Better than last time and I liked Robotman's biting off the monster's head. On the other hand, I wasn't overkeen on the team's bickering dialogue near the beginning and I'm still getting used to the writing style (I'm amazed at how little the word "said" gets used).
I thought the cover was great - really liked the lighting and colouring and the logo looked great in white.

I have to say right off that the cover is one of the coolest things I've seen!
There were a lot of things I liked about the story. I laughed when Cliff wanted to make sure that the Man was part of Robotman. The running gag in the early days of the revival was that he did to want to be called Robotman but Cliff instead. The creatures of the dark were very Morrison era like. That means they were cool, creepy, and weird. Good job. Rita is only 5 feet tall? Interesting change there. I like it. I think you are finding the characters voices and thats a good thing because you have some of the coolest characters in DC history to play with. If I had one complaint it would be the Chief. He doesn't seem like the strong arrogant type that is has portrayed as in most of the Doom Patrol runs. But I can deal. I am one of he biggest fans of this group. I am missing only a couple issues of My Greatest Adventures which they started out in. Plus I have every issue in each volume they appeared in since then, except the latest run which I stopped after issue #2. I do love these guys and I can't wait to see where you take them next!

Ha. You truly are a dedicated fan of Doom Patrol, John! What a collection! I stopped the latest run after #2 also. I'm just really hoping that we see another fully realized version of the team sometime soon in a new series, with their renewed popularity from the recent TV exposure it seems like a real possibility.

Lets see Celsius, she is awesome, immortal, haughty, Indian, with blue eyes, athletic, trained to be an incredible martial artist and able to control her core temperature and project quantities of cold, heat and billowing blasts of steam! She can be estranged from the Chief....I just think her potential is monumental. email me immortal-celsius@hotmail.com Ill give you my assistance. You do have great work here! what a great site!
