Awesome job! I loved this issue. The Suicide Squad (and Dick and Beetle) were written wonderfully. Honestly, I simply love both Beetle and Dick. You did a great job of writing them. Having them team up to fight the Squad was kewl. Great work.

Awesome job! I loved this issue. The Suicide Squad (and my beloved Dick and Beetle) were written beeeautifully. Honestly, I simply love Beetle and Dick, so having them work together in one issue was wonderful. Great work. You maaay want to rephrase that just a bit man. It just sounds dirty for some reason to me... Nice job Charlie, can't wait to see how it all ends... Wait, never mind.

WOW! Talk about a star studded issue! A great job here, especially with so many characters appearing, it was great that Batman didn't get lost in the shuffle.
Next time, though, I want to see him kick Floyd's butt all the way across the US! Favorite moment had to be when Deadshot kept missing and then the little "I see you" moment between the two of them. Finish is off with that flourish of the cape, and it was a scene to remember.
Can't wait to see how this wraps up!

Good stuff. Tara was on character. Story was good, as I knew ahead of time
But uh, thought you were gonna cut the Manhunter-Malthus confrontation, since we established it was redundant after the Cavalier thing last issue?
Looking forward to the Frost stuff next issue.
Lots of good dialogue too, especially when Bats laid into Electrocutioner about his brother, and the early stuff between Ted and Gordon.

I do appreciate it.

WOW! Talk about a star studded issue! A great job here, especially with so many characters appearing, it was great that Batman didn't get lost in the shuffle. At last! Next issue... well, you know what happens next issue! Cheers, Brian. Writing Batman as a competent crime fighter is all I ever want to do, and yeah, with enough plotting before hand, he can take down anyone. That's Dick. That's Bruce. That's Batman. This was his Trial By Fire in more ways than one, and he proved that he's ready for the mantle.

Good stuff. Tara was on character. Story was good, as I knew ahead of time That's good... Terra is actually quite fun to write. Started the second issue of a new project we've chatted about today, and she was a joy to write in that too. But uh, thought you were gonna cut the Manhunter-Malthus confrontation, since we established it was redundant after the Cavalier thing last issue? Oops, that's just a slip up, and I apologize. Looking forward to the Frost stuff next issue. Just put the finishing touches to that issue today, edited through my new co-writer's stuff, and checked the guest writer's work too. It's a wonderful issue, if I do say so myself. Mainly because I only wrote a small bit, and took on more of an editor role! Lots of good dialogue too, especially when Bats laid into Electrocutioner about his brother, and the early stuff between Ted and Gordon. Yeah, that was a lot of fun. I've enjoyed delving into the Suicide Squad here, and Checkmate is so much fun to write over in Wonder Woman and other projects previously mentioned.

An excellent, stunning wrap-up to this confrontation. Making one side look super-competent without jobbing the other side is very tough, and by and large, you succeeded as well as it could be done. Great visuals, solid, solid action and I loved some of the psychological blows that Dick threw as well. Just as important as the toys and the fisticuffs, and it shows how far Dick has come in his training. And the tactic of using this to bring Batman back to the public was executed very well. Good job, Charlie, you deserve the kudos.
Take care Don

I stumbled upon some of the nicest feedback you've ever given me, Don. Sob. I don't... I don't have the words... Cheers, mate!
