Great issue, brilliant characterizations and interactions, poor Gordon, I hope he will trust Dick, because it will make things easier for both of them if they can trust each other and Dick mainly trusts him now and Dick really needs his support now with becoming Batman.

Coming in a bit late on this (but I DID comment elsewhere) but had to give it 5 stars. Crane was brilliant. Gordon is perfect as the seasoned commish faced with a unique situation. Batman is great, more brutal in the cowl than the mask somewhat, but this makes it all the better. I loved the scenes where Gordon fired the cop, and Gordon's exhange with Nightwing, not to mention Nightwing himself. As I said, 5 stars. Great work. P.S.-- Heck of a good job on the cover! It alone deserves 5 stars.

This was a great issue with Scarecrow! I'm enjoying Dick's tenure under the cowl, he's a smart and brutal fighter when he adopts the persona of The Bat. It's an interesting psychological study of how Dick and Bruce react to the role of Batman.
Anyways, I loved the scenes with Gordon and the police. It was a fun battle with Crane; very smart moves on Dick's part. Great issue!
