This arc, I think, is really heating up, starting right here. I'm always really reluctant to comment on stuff I have a hand in, but as Alex and Im both collaborated on this as well, I feel like it's kind of acceptable. I'm having a lot of fun on this arc with these guys, and I hope you can see it with what we're producing.
First Blood is a brilliant title for this issue, as the first casualities are seen-- nowhere is safe! Mysteries abound! Orpheus versus Gun Moll's men was a sight to behold, and the aftermath with Batman and the GCPD high-octane. Those anarchic Jokerz are becoming a major problem, but thank God their daddy has returned... wait, what? Alfred is showcased fantastically, and Gordon and Essen's relationship is really beginning to grow into something other than the office romance we've seen before. Ruh-roh. Let's just hope that DCU history doesn't repeat if a certain Clown Prince of Crime... returns...
Great work, Alex!

I also have been having a blast working alongside you and Imari, the contributions both ofyou made really make this issue shine, compare to the nitial issue I sent ( which, ahem, was my intention ) Fellow DC2ers, believe me when I say the best is yet to come. We've got totall bad-asserish writing and art coming and not to mention the upcoming return of The Penguin!.... Maybe

Awesome installment in the DC2's next great Bat-epic! Love the Gun-Moll and her crew! I can't believe how effortlessly they fit into Gotham. Feels like I've been reading about them for years. I am enjoying Orpheus more and more now. The war on the Hill--- throw in the Jokerz and Batman and it's a powder keg! Loved the scene at Wayne Manor "You, sir, are trespassing!" It's become kind of a cliche to show just how much of a badass Alfred is, but this was too goo to resist. The Wrath is just too scary, and steals every scene he's in! Well done! Nice cliffhanger, too. So the Return of the title is Drakon, huh ? Too bad for Commissioner Gordon! That cover was bloody awesome! Reminded me a little of the Batman art of Paul Pope. This issue was a total tour de force of a great writer and artist. Five stars!

Part 2 was even more fun than part 1, and I wouldn't have thought that possible.
Love the relationship between Gordon and Essen. Gun Moll really does fit in well with all the other mob bosses.
Also good to see Talia back, but somebody help me jog my memory. What happened at the end of the Batman death with her and Joker. Weren't they on a plane together leaving Gotham, or am I totally confused?
Cover was excellent as well. I'm loving this arc so far. 5 stars.

Also good to see Talia back, but somebody help me jog my memory. What happened at the end of the Batman death with her and Joker. Weren't they on a plane together leaving Gotham, or am I totally confused? Check out Nightwing for the answer to that question! Sorry about the blip in schedule by the way, real life has got in the way of us producing our best work, and if we put forward a haphazard issue instead of knuckling down, getting through what's troubling us and then coming back bigger and better, then we wouldn't be part of the DC2, would we? Hopefully Part 4 will hit this week or the next! And if we have to go weekly to get this thing done before the end of the year... well, I'm game.
