I love these kinds of stories. A 'changing of the guard', if you will. Alex took a risk with the first person narrative, and whilst it was patchy in places I think it paid off quite well. I love getting into characters heads, and I believe that there are some characters that shouldn't have their brains spilled out for all to see (in more ways than one) but Dick Grayson is not one of them. Seeing threads continue over from Alex's first issue on the book was great, and knowing that all the stuff from 2009 is coming to a head is very satisfying. Loving the new villain, and I'm wondering what else is in store from Alex with the next issue!
It's such a shame Alex is leaving this title after #45 though. Brr.

I'm not a big fan of first person, and don't feel comfortable writing in it, but i felt the story worked best that way. I don't know if it worked out all the way, but what the hell, take a chance i say, that and don't pay for something you can get at a university health office for free. I wanted to leave my run on this title wrapped up with a nice little bow as much as possible for the unfortunate soul who has the unenviable pleasure of following me. God knows it will be in a similar vain to someone who has to use the restroom after someone who had eaten some some taco bell earlier in the day. It's been a blast to write Tec. I hope my next assignment is just as good (whatever that may be)!

Good issue, Alex. Wasn't a huge fan of the first person here, but the story itself was very compelling. Personally I'm glad to see Bruce back, but this final story with Dick a great bookend.
Congrats on a super run!
