Please tell us what you think!
And yes, we've skipped #45, but Alex's concluding issue is still coming, and we'd rather give you more adventures of Bruce Wayne than keep you wanting! We hope that this issue lives up to the hype, as it does feature one of the first adventures of Bruce's return to the cowl!

A great, tight, creepy little tale that showcases Bruce's "insanity" in just the right way without it seeming forced and unnecessary. We're slowly eking out the concrete facts of Bruce's return to the fold this month, and soon we'll see him interact with the Justice League-- that'll be an issue you should all read-- but this showed him to be every the brilliant crime fighter, ever the hero, and the villain of the piece, and the mystery itself (one very much befitting of 'Detective' Comics), was all very well done. It was great to see the internal continuity of the Bat-books reflected, with Harvey Bullock's Wrath-inflicted throat wound still causing him a lot of bother, and his interaction with his temporary partner Renee Montoya was spot on, completely. Gordon/Batman is always something I look forward to reading and this was no exception to that self imposed rule I have, and I was very glad to see their grating conversation come about. More on that eventually, if Grant ever finishes his final story for the foreseeable future (and that... I doubt), but the motions here were sharp and effective.
Thanks to Dave for stepping up with the challenge I set him all those months ago, when he hadn't had any stories out on site yet, and thanks to Joe Jarin for showcasing the return of Bruce Wayne to the cowl in such an imitable manner. We're coming back, slowly but surely!

Great cover and a great story. I enjoyed seeing a nice one shot mystery after all the long arcs that have been taking place here.(Nothing against the long arcs just a nice change of pace)
