Awesome issue, loved the introduction of two of my favorite villains. And the mystery is growing nicely. Four Stars man.

I think the Mirror mistress is my new favorite femme fatale.
And while I'm not familiar with him, the concept behind Wotan is one I like very much.

Thanks guys, for your comments!
I love Mirror Mistress as well, and if I wrote a series, she would definitely be a regular.
Wotan is a Golden Age villain, and I honestly had just really learned more of him when I began writing this issue.

Wotan is one of my favorite Golden Age villains, and I love seeing him get used. With that in mind, his fate over in DCU in the Eighties/Nineties was kind of sad.
I know I'm curious to see what happens to him here. And I'm looking forward to getting to use him over in Ultimate All-Stars in DC3 when the time comes. hee hee
Take care Don

I have to admit: he won't be used much more from here on. In the future I'd like to use him more, but here he and his pals have had another purpose which will be revealed later...though it happens off page, their task will be revealed in the upcoming issues. These villains are great in concept and I think they have too much potential to be wasted in DCU.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Wotan pop up in Justice Society of America (appearing in January '08)... In fact, I'd be more surprised if Dr. Fate's old nemesis didn't make his presence known other there!

Incidentally, "Wotan" also appeared in Scott Kruger's excellent Elseworlds mini JSA: A Legends End. Check it out for a bold new interpretation of the character!
