Great job HoM! I really like the first person narrative on this. Barry never sounded better and loved the moment between Flash and Wally. Keep up the good work!

I liked it. Having Zoom use "The Life Story of The Flash" to form the Rogues is an interesting twist. Boomerang is a mean little bugger with a temper isn't he? I can imagine writing the Flash in prose only is a challange, but one you pull off nicely. I look forward to seeing where this is all going.

Thanks for the kind words sirs! I'd just like to apoligise for the shortness of the stories so far, but they do get longer, at the expense of sucking my soul dry. Thanks again, and you'll love what's coming up in future months!

Great job, man! I especially liked the bit with Ralph, Sue, Iris, and Barry. Perfect characterization!

Nice job, Charlie, but I think I found our first official DC2 continuity gaffe! First, I should make evryone aware, that this title, like your Batman series, takes place prior to current chronology (the reason that Wally is so young here, and college age in Teen Titans)--- but you have Barry refer to an adventure with Hal Jordan, who is just starting out on his GL career in current chronology, some years after the events of this story! I hope our readers will kindly allow us to work on a retcon of the scene in question...? I have some reservations about Wally's father being a child beater, but I trust you know where you're going with this... Otherwise, an excellent story. Can't wait to see what Zoom has in store for Barry! The Rogues are shaping up nicely: Captain Cold, Mirror Master, Captain Boomerang--- did I miss anyone so far?

Yep... that's what I was going to say. I'm surprised, since I knew that Charlie knew the events in GL were currently happening in the DC2 continuity (who's this Hal guy anyway? Green Lantern's real name is Abin Sur... ), So I just figured this all took place after, whoever this Hal guy is, received a power ring. Otherwise, a fun romp! I like the first person narrative as well. I like the idea of Wally's dad being a child-beater over a Manhunter (isn't that what happened in the regular DCU? Makes me question how Wally was actually conceived... ). A retcon though? Maybe it was Superman... he can crush coal into a diamond...

This story must take place after Barry goes into the future and has an adventure with Hal right? Gee I wonder what Barry will do now with all that knowledge he has on the future? Will we now see Barry guide events to make sure something happens or doesn't happen? hhmmmmmmmmm? Or maybe that's just the cold medicine talking!

Ha. Yeah, I haven't read Scott's GL run yet and am not familiar with it. I didn't know his beginnings were taking place in the "now", so I completely missed that. But like John said, Barry's a time traveller so who knows where the guy has been.

Exactly.
But still... Oops.
I'll explain it later.
I have a plan...

Thanks for the kind words boi! And still, the best is yet to come, with Murmur, The golden age Flash and The Tricksters popping up in the next few months! It's not gonna be a quiet new year for the Scarlet Speedster!
